Find 2012 and above. Or at least ones that still have warranties with Ford/Sdac.

my first batch fiesta 1.6S just went kong two weeks ago. 100+k km already and I thought I was one of the luckier ones who got a non-problematic unit. car just couldn't go into reverse, TCM kong. Towed car to service centre, thank god it was under 10 year warranty. Now I just collected the car and noticed that every time after I turn off the engine the radiator fan will be on for a few minutes. It is a NA 1.6, never happened before, should I visit the SC again? Sigh....

Separate question, I'm due for a tire change soon. Any affordable good tires to recommend? My Bridgestone RE003s thread wearing out....

yes as suspected this morning i checked and the tank is almost empty! I think the SC technician must have damaged the tank, tank cracked and was leaking. Of course I didn't want to make a big fuss, so it's another RM 500 down the drain for a new tank....

Radiator fan leaving on for a few minutes usually is because the engine is still too hot, hence the fan is left on. There are those universal coolant tanks out there that bawah pokok workshops can install for you for less than 200 I think. As for tires, if you're looking for good performance and all rounder,

Michelin Pilot Sport 4, Hankook Ventus S12 Evo 2, Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 (need to under inflate at about 28-30 psi for optimum grip), and also the outgoing Michelin Pilot Sport 3.

Kena chopped by SC again I guess. For tyres, might get the PS3 if the tire shop still stocks them. RE003 is really good but does not last long enough. plus i most probably be purchasing another car soon. biggrin.gif
