Very smart this Valentino Rossi thumbup.gif

How Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus will make Valentino Rossi richer

It seems odd that Valentino Rossi will stand to profit from Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent move to Italian football club, Juventus. But that is exactly what is set to happen.According to reports, the VR46 Racing Apparel company which belongs to Rossi, and one that specializes in the production of merchandise for popular athletes and companies, is in fact producing all merchandise for Juventus as well. The VR46 Racing Apparel company produces all merchandise for some top MotoGP riders including Marc Marquez, but that ended in 2016. The company still produces merchandise for Daniel Pedrosa, Cal Crutchlow, Kevin Schwantz and others.

As for companies, the company produces merchandise for the Juventus football club, Yamaha, Monster Energy, KTM, Dainese, AGV, Oakley, GoPro and even Lamborghini.Cristiano Ronaldo’s 100 million Euro transfer to Juventus is expected to lead to a spike in demand for Juventus apparel, which would inadvertently result in more business for the VR46 Racing Apparel company.

The VR46 Racing Apparel is rumored to have closed the 2017 fiscal year with a profit of 30 million Euros.

And that is how Valentino Rossi will make money from Ronaldo’s transfer.

Yup, great last lap by both Dovi and VR. But VR says he's skeptical if he can keep up the pace in for the whole race, hopefully he could find some more setup improvement in the morning. MM's FP4 race sim was devastatingly fast though.  sweat.gif

We all know vr46 is a Sunday man. He could probably be playing mind games with the others.

Congrats to his brother too Luca Marini for getting his first pole.

Interesting thing I found out. Seems like Dovi and Lorenzo aren't really on good terms. Since Lorenzo never had any good relationships with his teammate, I wonder how things will go at Honda next year.

Alvaro Bautista going to SBK replacing Marco Melandri. See how he does. If he can beat JR it will be good for the sport. Sad to see Marco Melandri dumped though.

I still don't understand why they keep holding British GP at this time of year. And sepang at year end too. They should knw weather plays a big part in some circuits.

actually they can just race in the wet....the've done it multiple time...

its just that the newly resurfaced track got problem of standing water and river stream of water (even when the rain already stopped).... thats the main danger when they decided not to race....
on good note...british gp and comitte have been evaluating to race as early as 11:30am for next time around...
*
Yes, they can race in the wet, most tracks have good drainage and better surface but I think riders would prefer to race in the dry. And spectators prefer not to watch in the rain too. Sepang should be held on the first few races instead IMO.

I think they purposely scheduled some tracks like Silverstone and Sepang to have some chance of rain so at least during the year will have some wet races but of course got this risk of too much rain.
*
Both UK and Malaysia rains basically the whole year but year end both places rains a lot.

I actually like wet races coz that can spur some surprises from the underdogs. It also highlights the skill to control the bike even more, separating the greats from the good and the average, just like in F1.
*
I prefer mixed conditions, drying track or suddenly rain in the middle of races. Shows how teams and riders manage the situation. Usually will get unexpected results. Same goes for F1.

For bike racing, the technique to switch bike is pretty important during mixed condition. You can see for example MM is very fast and efficient in his movement to jump from 1 bike to another, compared to VR who is noticeable much slower and not as efficient when switching bikes!
*
They are not allowed to jump anymore iinm. Not only Rossi, those with leg injuries also struggle to switch. But the main advantage is who comes in at the right moment. Rossi had this problem in a few races for coming in too late. Since the onboard messaging introduced, we haven't had any mixed condition race, I wan't to see how he fares with it. He really needed that then imo.
