if u plan to visit keningau, u should already have in mind what u wanna do..no?

if u ask me as a local, i can't think of anything to do at all in keningau

Actually if you wanna to travel in Sabah u can try to download one app made from Sabahan called "Reviewbah"
There's alot of local review guiding u where u should go and shouldn't go. Available in iOS and Android.
Or u can just visit their website Reviewbah

using review is good but sometime u just have no choice
the good restaurant/eateries in sabah are all outside of the city and require u to have transport to reach

Which city(Sandakan and Kota Kinabalu) is more suitable for travelling?

Kinabalu for more varieties of attraction: beaches, island hopping, nature (Kinabalu Park), shopping, accomodation
Sandakan for fantabulous food, including seafood. Attraction wise mostly nature park & resort.

will be visiting KK in September - 5 days 4 nights.
Arrive at KK airport at around 4pm.
Planning to visit Kundasang as well , do you all think if I should straight go to Kundasang after arriving at KK airport or should be next morning?

Are you driving on your own? If yes then tomorrow. Sunset begins at 6:30pm, it will be dark before you reach Kundasang. This is no Genting, you don't get much lights there ya. Even more dangerous if raining.

I recommend enjoying Tanjung Aru amazing sunset first. You won't regret going there.

last month go Sabah, Kundasang, Ranau area, hot spring, KK, want go tip of borneo but 4 hours trip from KK.. too far ..better next time ...

Don't think need 4 hours unless you make frequent stops, I remember it took me only about 2.5 hours from KK when I drove there on my rented Bezza few years ago.

guys, is 8am-10am the best time slot to visit Desa Dairy Farm if want to view mount Kk clearly?

there are many spots to view mount K but yes generally morning has higher chance of clear skies

Return to KK to take flight (7pm flight)
Can help to recommend stop in between tip of borneo and KKIA for sightseeing and food?

on your way to tuaran, stop by "bakut canteen" for bfast....when u reach tamparuli, go eat tamparuli fried noodle or just eat tuaran mee at tuaran
