VW does not offer their own loan like mercedes or BMW.

the bank interest rate now is around 2.5 to 2.6....

Thanks for the head-up. Guess no special offer from VWM. sad.gif

Rm129k is inpossible. If that's the price, Japanese brand equipvalent car no need to sell Liao. Now the CRV and CX5 are nothing really competitive in terms of price comparing to tiguan already.

But the extra rm20k paid for highline the things are really worthwhile as the things get are more than the 20k.

Hopefully as consumers it forces the others to buckle up, offer full safety (active & passive) suites at lower competitive prices...

Haha..Well,if they want to built marketshare, thats not a bad move no?But not so low to devalue it la..I still doubt it could trump cx5 here saleswise due to unknown reliability/resale value post warranty..Anyway this my opinion only, not an expert..

Yeah... I think so too.. Is it weird that I'd be less interested in it if it were priced around 100K? laugh.gif .. It's like, Hmm, must have been cutting cost somewhere.. Where is it? laugh.gif laugh.gif

Being kaypo,  hopped in the vw  showrm to inspect this car!  Omg , the quality of the seat! Feel more like PVc than fabric! Full tank 60L able to cover 1000 km as claimed by VW! Curb wt against the power train! For me, hard to believe! Lol! The highline  looks decent though !
*
You could probably get 1000km but with drastic measures (i.e: drive on highway only, off air cond, drive at a super optimal speed, maybe some weight reduction) hahaha ... If not a full tank in this Tiguan will probably get you 650km at most in our usual Malaysian driving condition.

Yes for highline spec ... I really hope that VW has turned things around with the DSG 6 speed wet clutch and service ... If not i will really regret buying the Tiguan
