Don't think R-line Line and 2.0 is available in Malaysia.

no R-line or 2.0 as of now.

only 1.4 two different variants. i think 2.0 has no market so they dun intend to bring in (at least for now)

Too bad no acc.

Just curious. How do you guys feel about the new Renault Koleos?

Mind sharing your thoughts? Much appreciate it
*
I test drive and almost bought it before discovered that there's no CarPlay/Android Auto support unless it's manufactured after April 2017, which is 11k more expensive. No firmware upgrade for the current model according to Renault. Worse still, Renault Malaysia and France didn't response to my inquries after sending 3 mails. I found out the details only through Renault Dutch, using Google Translate. With such attitude, I wonder if they will ignore the buyers in the future in the event of faulty parts/engine or warranty claim even though I know it's x-trail inside, which suppose to be more reliable.

Love the design though, like all the France cars. It's very comfortable and spacious, nice to drive.

Gonna test drive Tiguan this Sunday.

*
Yes, that's the point. Not about year end discount, but the value of car.

Actually the waiting period depend upon the color of choice.
I heard White and Blue need to wait longer due to popularity.
Black, Grey and Silver should be faster.
I choose White, only. Although SA said give two color of choice.
*
My SA said mine has long wait because of grey...lol

I booked my CL about the same time as you and I'm already driving it for almost a month. Got a dent on the bonnet already sad.gif

What did the SA say ?
*
Same here, booked HL and got LOU around that time, now VW officially tell me I could get it only early September. I will most likely cancel the purchase if I don't get it mid of June.

MAA release car sales data every month, VW April total sales actually dropped compare to March. Even if Tiguan consist of the most part of that sales, it isn't big at all. 2 trims, CL and HL with limited choice of colors shows a small SKUs to handle. Probably screw up somewhere at the supply chain.

For those who opt to cancel Tiguan booking and booked new CRV,  they will face the same cycle again. Waiting without knowing the delivery date and have to face false hope again and again and again.

Sad..
*
I canceled not because of unable to wait, but more of a lost of confidence in their after sales. Lots of delay and uncertainty in the conversation made me feels that, in the future if the car were to have problem, I will have hard time dealing with them. Everyone has different expectation and tolerance, don't have to take my word for it. It's certainly a beautiful car with good handling.

IMO, Judging from the discussion I had with an SA about why there aren't any HL display units, I believe it's a higher level management or lack of adequate communication between concerned parties . Cuz let's face it, if the lower level managers and SAs had the info, they'll be willing provide it and not remain silent. After all, their livelihood depends on closing sales and delivery.
*
What disappointed me was their higher management cause I wrote in directly to them. SA are front liner, without adequate support nothing much they can do.

Did they reply ?
*
Took them almost a week to reply, told me they will follow up with the dealer, waited another week, nothing, so I wrote in again, got a reply asking for info that I have already provided in my first mail. Waited again, then got the answer worse than what was given by my SA. Feels like the same sad stories of those sending their car for repair and waited over and over again because nobody knows when the parts will arrive.
