What is the conversion rate if withdraw to our Malaysian bank account, does it follow Paypal rate or the account holder's bank (eg. Public Bank) rate?

hey guys, how long do you have to wait for the 4 digit code to arrive? I'm using the maybank debit card and all I can see is 2 'PRE-AUTH DEBIT', one RM6 and another RM1. Statements showing nothing.

Just to confirm, if I buy paypal funds (in USD) from a local seller, it automatically gets converted to MYR? And there's another cost (exchange rate + fee) within Paypal to convert the bought payment back to USD?

LYN is becoming like the government BN, ban this & that. Paypal buying with credit card is expensive because of higher exchange rates from banks. This is crazy & we have to rely on lelong & mudah.

You should see the 4-digit code something in there in RM 6

Just think of it , PayPal is great now for Malaysians , you can link your bank account and maybank offers visa debit card. You can add funds and withdraw funds

I didn't see any bad side except for possible scam, in which is a risk for all trades in LYN not only Paypal funds selling. I had been buying Paypal funds from a few reputable sellers, nothing wrong thus far. I don't see a problem here.

The one offered by AmBank is a NexG prepaid credit card which u can purchase at 7-11, usually in Klang Valley, the fee charges is RM3 monthly so per year is around RM36

As for Public Bank Visa Electron (debit card), You can apply for it at any Public Bank branch. yearly fees is RM24 but waived for the first year. =)

Both of them need to deposit minimum RM25, Let's say if u need to spend RM50 with the card... U need to have RM75 balance in the card.

At the moment both of the card is accepted in Paypal. I personally using PB VE to verify my paypal =)  hope this info helps..

Sorry for going off topic a bit. But does Ambank NexG prepaid starter pack only available at 7-11 Klang valley branch?
And can I topup the prepaid at 7-11 rather than go to the bank..?
