you can't convert your USD to MYR
if you buy stuffs in MYR, then you must have funds in MYR, else it will deduct from CC

My clients that requested paypal are mostly from USA.. They can do chargeback quite easily..
So, now I try to encourage them to use TransferWise or bitcoin.

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask for assistance.

Just last week I registered for Viper Challenge with amount of RM1.3k and upon checking out making payment with using paypal where my maybank debit card attached to it. But then I got the error saying the payment was not successful but at the same time I got a sms from Maybank saying that I had made the payment.

Checked with Viper Challenge, they had no record with my payment. Checked with Maybank just now, they advise me to lodge a report to paypal and get refund ( something like this ), was given a report number and I was asked to visit maybank2u and a few steps to retrieve the report. Forgot the steps to get the report, can anyone enlighten me? And does anyone faced this problem before? thanks smile.gif

Hi guys.

Want to ask which banks are currently still accepting Paypal.

I tried linking my CIMB MyDebit card to Paypal and that failed to go through. When I contacted CS they refused to remove the block(understandably senior management orders). I heard Maybank is also blocking Paypal transactions too.

Prior to switching to MyDebit, Paypal worked fine without any issues after I activated overseas online transactions
