I used hyperdia and came to a conclusion that Kansai Thru Pass doesn't makes money worth, or very hard to use the pass up to its value. Maybe I will buy a day for Himeji and Kobe. Thanks anyway.

3 days must be spent in Osaka, as I bought a 2 day Osaka Amazing Pass and one day will be distributed towards Universal Studio.

Thanks anyway biggrin.gif

There is no one day pass for Kansai Thru Pass, minimum requirement is 2 day pass which cost around 4k yen, average 2k yen per day. If you are going to Himeji then congrats to you, you have earned back the value itself, which costs around 3k for a return trip. Since you have dedicated 5 days for Osaka, then the other 2 days, you can either go for Osaka Zoo, or even do shopping. Even shinsaibashi + namba + dotunburi can cost you whole day to finish it.

Buy 2 Days Kansai Thru Pass.
As look 416 mention. One day used for Himeji Trip already 3k Yen + some subway sightseeing around at night.
2nd day used this pass go Nara. From Osaka Namba Station take Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Nara Station. One way already cost 560Yen
Night still can used this pass sight seeing around using subway.

So In the Ends , Your 4000 Yen 2 Days Kansai Thru Pass already worth back the price.

Good, still need to do some adjustment. Wait I reach home first. Btw, you no need spend full day at Nara.
Nov 03, Target Himeji first at Morning. Then Robeway to hill. After Nunobiki Garden then head to Arima Onsen. Chinatown at night for dinner. Then head to kobe tower for night view.

First come first, its called USJ, Universal Studio Japan, not USO.

I assume your day 1 will be just reaching in and check in only, but you still can take the chance to go for night view if you managed to check in before 5pm. Famous Observatory -> Umeda Sky Tower Building, Abeno Harukas

As boss CID have said, you dont need to spend whole day in Nara, so you can put other places nearby to Nara. My suggestion will be Fushimi Inari Taisha or Uji. Cant comment much on Uji since I never been there.

Nara -> Nara park. There is a shopping street once you come out from the station, which is quite nice to walk.

Kyoto -> Kyoto Station, Gion, Kamo River, Kiyomizu dera, Ginkaku ji, Kinkaku ji, Nanzenji, kita no tenmangu, arashiyama and so on.

Cant help on Kobe, so you will have to do your own homework on that.

Have you planned your return day? For your itinerary, how you are going to get back to KIX in order to go back to MY?

For the first day, I will reach KIX at 8 in the morning, lots of time left for the day. For the last day, isn't the bus/train the only options. This reminds me of something:
I saw the prices of transportation from the airport to the city by bus cost 1000++ yen per person. Is it really that pricey? Any other cheaper option? The cheapest if possible. I will be visiting the observatory on the second day with the Osaka Amazing pass. I might spend an extra day at Kyoto in Amanoshidate, boss CID, have you been there? And if you have been there, do you think its worthwhile to go there? And for the places near Nara, boss CID, fushimi Inari Taisha or Uji? I am not asking which is better, I am just asking for your opinion on these 2 choices. Thanks for reading my long ass reply biggrin.gif

If you planning to go for ama no hashidate, you need to put at least 2 days 1 night. I have been there and regret for just putting one day for it. You can enjoy the spring over there as well. The view over there is very good.

Cheapest option for you to go to city from airport will be bus, which cost around 500 yen. Cant tell the experience as I used harukas train.

If you are reaching KIX at around 8, then you can go around namba, dotunburi after you check in, assuming you are staying around namba area

Just try to book a car for my Hokkaido Trip using tocoo (free internet plan)
total 7 days.
=========================
Total Rental Fees
Basic Rental fee:31,941yen
Compensation Coverage:7,560 yen
Option Fee:0yen
Drop-Off Fee:0yen
Total Rental Fee:39,501yen
Total Rental Payment:39,501yen

Tocoo option Fees & Deliverly
The fees will be charged on your registered credit card by ToCoo.
*This does NOT include "Total Rental Fees"(such as rental car fees).

Tocoo! Additional Support : 5670yen
Smartphone<with tethering function> : 0yen
ETC card rental (might be sold out) : 2268yen
==========================

I wonder why the ETC card rental much expensive that Honda(540Y) & Toyota(324Y), as they implement 1 time charge only.
But tocoo charge 1 day 324Y(and 15000Y deposit, toll charge will be calculated after return the ETC with 3% handling charge for the toll) . yet to add in HEP (7700 for 7 days).

do i still need to add in extra for HEP ?

My schedule as below (mid oct)
day 1: Airport to Biei/Furano (stay between Bibaushi/biei area)
day 2: Biei/Furano (stay between Bibaushi/biei area)
day 3: Sounkyo
day 4: Sapporo
day 5: Sapporo
day 6: Otaru (stay Sapporo)
day 7: Jozankei (stay Sapporo)
day 8: 8am flight

I am there for like 6 hours, reached there around 1pm leave around 6pm. Because that time, I am rushing for nijo castle night view, so I have to leave early. You probably can reach there by 9 if you wake up around 6 am and reach kyoto station before 7, then take hashidate shinkansen all the way from kyoto station to amanohashidate.
