QUOTE(Sitting Duck @ Aug 31 2016, 08:57 PM) I'm planning to stop at Hakone for 1 night on the way back from Kyoto to Tokyo. Planning to book a hotel near the Hakone station, then leave the luggage at the hotel during the 2nd day and go sight seeing, and try my very best to make it back to Odawara station to take shinkansen to Tokyo. Praying hard hard that I can make it back to Hakone station -> Odawara station for the Shinkansen. 1. Does anyone know which hotel is reasonable price near Hakone station? 2. What time is the last train from Hakone station to Odawara? 3. What time is the last shinkansen from Odawara to Tokyo. Hi kingofrave89, can you share with me your sight seeing plan for Hakone using the Hakone Free Pass? I'm trying google the information but still unsure what are the nice places to go. Thanks. QUOTE(kingofrave89 @ Sep 1 2016, 09:59 AM) I also want to know the answer of all ur questions! haha. Important NoticeAs for my itineraries in Hakone, I just simply follow this one; Hakone Itineraries 1 Hakone Itineraries 2 Due to volcanic gases, the walking and hiking trails around Owakudani are currently closed to tourists. The Hakone Ropeway is operating along its entire length. The shops and restaurants around the ropeway station and the access road and parking lot are open. However, people with respiratory problems should avoid the area due to the volcanic gases. --> Read more here http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5203.html |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Sep 19 2016, 11:26 AM) I didn't told you take out Furano/Biei means it worth to go. yup sounkyo Most of those blog guide writer also been Hokkaido once or twice only.....they also dunno anything...Hokkaido it self I already been there 57 times. Enough to beat any one here to Japan record. I told you to take out Jozankei because this place was very small and not worth to spend whole day here plus Sounkyo Autumn scenic view are 5 times more prettier than Jozankei too. fyi sounkyo autumn foliage is very hard to catch (the mountain range is very wide) and very far from asahikawa the time i go there, i believe the leaf oni convert max 60-90% (depend on area) and jozankei autumn foliage it very beautiful also has it own specialty... it is recommended to go coz it is very near to sapporo i been to both place, if got time better go both place disclaimer: im not flower guy... more like scenery guy furano to me is just so so |
