Going Lake Kawaguchiko with Fujikyoko Bus are most cheapest way
Going Hakone must buy Odakyu Hakone Pass + 800 Yen for ''Romance Car'' Train
Going Enoshima + Kamukura with Pasmo // Suica
*
So I cannot go to these 3 places by using JR Tokyo Wide Pass?

One more thing, if let's say I want to stay over for one night at either hakone or fuji, which place is better? And should I go to fuji or hakone first?

Sorry for asking many questions :s

How do you go around Saiko lake, Shojiko lake, Kawaguchiko lake and Yamanakako lake. Is retro/omni bus the only option? I am staying near Kawaguchiko lake for 1 night. So Im thinknig of go for a tour, around these lakes

"Without providing a date its difficult to judge. If its a working day, will be packed with people going to work. As for disney (s), same question as well? When are you going? During holiday season in Japan? Raining season? Hot summer??"

sacwoc: Hi thank you for your above reply. I'm travelling from Dec 6 - Dec 17.

Question: Dec 12 (monday) Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo to Disneysea. i planning to get to the disneysea as early as possible what is the earliest time i can catch a train from Shinjukugyoen to Mae Station to disneysea? to skip the peak hours?

i have kids tagging along and luggage. I'm worried about the human traffic.

Its winter and Disney will definitely be full of people. Depending on the weather some rides might be close as well. As for the earliest train I think its around 5 am. However I dont think Disney open that early.

I would suggest you buy ticket at least a day before rather than on that day itself. Travelling with kids its really not easy! I have one myself.

If you are talking about JR rail pass, yes Nozomi is not included, though I am not eligible for this pass at all.

As long you using JR Rail Pass...You cannot onboard ''Nozomi'' Class Train.
''Nozomi'' & ''Mizuho'' are not included inside JR Rail Pass.
Not only Malaysian, rest of world also same.

Sacwoc are working at Japan. He was not fit into category of getting JR Rail Pass.
So Am I.
JR Rail Pass only for those temporary visitor who tourist visit to Japan.

After doing some research. We decided to take Hakone Free Pass. We will start from Hakone-Tozan train, go to sight seeing around Hakone and will come back to Togendai and take bus to Gotemba Premium Outlet.

We will not go to Fuji, instead we will spend a night in Hakone. Do you guys have any recommendation on where to stay in Hakone? Preferable the one with onsen.

I'm planning to stop at Hakone for 1 night on the way back from Kyoto to Tokyo.

Planning to book a hotel near the Hakone station, then leave the luggage at the hotel during the 2nd day and go sight seeing, and try my very best to make it back to Odawara station to take shinkansen to Tokyo.

Praying hard hard that I can make it back to Hakone station -> Odawara station for the Shinkansen.

1. Does anyone know which hotel is reasonable price near Hakone station?
2. What time is the last train from Hakone station to Odawara?
3. What time is the last shinkansen from Odawara to Tokyo.

Hi kingofrave89, can you share with me your sight seeing plan for Hakone using the Hakone Free Pass? I'm trying google the information but still unsure what are the nice places to go.

Thanks.

Yes and no. Use the fast pass for main rides.
For Disney sea we notice the queue is less than Disney
If no fast pass be prepare to wait 1-2hours

I preferred usj as less waiting compared to Disney
Be prepared to ride only 50% or less of the rides in the park

Disney's queue is really long everywhere you go. Best is try to avoid weekends. Do be prepared to queue and get toys ready to distract your kids. It doesn't matter if it's evening or day. Make use of Fast Pass. But even fast passes for each rides can run out really fast. So just go to the main attraction to get the fast pass, queue for another one and then go back and redeem your fast pass. They give you a timing on your fast pass on when your time slot to return to that attractions.

Erm ... it's not like the nozomi train travels at a faster speed than the others, it's just that it stops at fewer stations. So you will still be able to experience how ... uneventful it is to sit on a shinkansen at (close to) 300km/h. Frankly it's a bit of a anti-climax LOL.

i see. thank you for your tips! may I know, what time is your flight at that day? Is it very early? What time do they normally open their counter?
*
I fly that time at 6 AM in the morning Saturday. Their counter open from 8 AM to 9 PM during that time. I just revisited back to their website. It mentions available 24 hours, so should good for you ady rclxms.gif

The issue here is that they have guaranteed me that they will postage the device by Thursday and will reach to me by Friday. However I didnt receive anything on Friday, so after a conversation with them, they assured me that they will meet me up at KLIA2 and pass me the device before the flight. I think now they have improved their system probably. since they have updated their service hour to be 24/7.

QUOTE(jenniferjen @ Aug 30 2016, 04:45 PM)
I wish to know this too
I be collecting from KLIA if i rent from them
Also, is there a cap on the usage?
Thank you
*
If you are from KLIA, then no worries. they do have a counter over there. In fact, they have opened their booth in KLIA2 after my trip somewhere in May.
No cap on usage. Unlimited is indeed unlimited and I gotta admit it, the speed is much much faster compared to Malaysia telco carrier, even it is shared among 5 people.
