Keeping curtains closed all the time may be an issue. Breezeway has units facing car park also. So far think all are occupied and not much of an issue
*
Thanks for the info.
Didn't know BW had such units also.

good analysis you have. For me , sound pollution is an important factor too...

Maybe SB buyer don't own Ferrari or Lamborghini...leh
Btw, if u drop by sales office, try to have a look at how the car park building is organised. How the car parking bay are arranged.

Appreciate it

Lets look at the practicality of these units facing car park.

The distance is approx 60feet between the car park building and the unit.
In terms of lighting, the building lights are not shinning directly at your unit and the trellis will negate the brightness somewhat.
And you are likely to pull down the curtains when you sleep smile.gif
The lighting from the car head lamps are unlikely to affect you as i believe there are barriers that are 2 to 3 feet high. This will block out the light unless the car is a 4x4 or SUV where the barrier may not be high enough.

Bear in mind, 60feet is your typical distance between 2 rows of DSLH if you include the car poach (20feet road, 20feet car poach for your unit and 20feet for your opposite neightbor).

In terms of pollution, the car park building has 2088 car park bays and this I will be more concern. When the cap park is full at night, the heat from all the parts, the petrol smell, brakes dust etc will make it very unpleasant to leave the windows or balcony open.
Depending on wind direction and if there are any ventilation fans to direct the air away from the units, this is a concern.

I believe the distance of 60feet helps but to what extent i don't know.
Safe to assume that these units will need to have their windows close most of the time.

No need to over worry la. Just visit any car park in shopping mall with few hundred to thousand folds of turnover then u can expect the smell issue can be bad until which level, some more according to u this is 60 feet away then it is even much more insignificant. Those unit got people died also hardly can create smell pollution impact to the neighbor at such distant, but passby the unit can smell it la. laugh.gif

The heat from your neighbor building no need to scare also, nearly zero impact to ur unit. The unit with window or balcony facing east or west have to worry more on that.

Just that higher traffic is definitely will cause the air more dusty.

Btw, at night u sleep with open windows / balcony yet u pull down the curtain? Is kinda weird as curtain is going to completely block the air ventilation even u open the windows / balcony. Beside that, mostly u sleep without aircon? Or on aircon yet open windows / balcony?

Save some money on view, reno kaw kaw and make sure cozy. You wouldn't want to see the outside world when u at home. Anyhow 70% of your time already spent outside your home.
