I agree Fab should enter in early. Our team lack creativity. When we led 1 goal, it was not safe yet we need score more goals.

I just love the fighting spirit from our team, too back we cant killed off the game in the first half.

i think this is the most un-inspiring game for us so far this season. calamitous defending in the 2nd half nearly handed us our first defeat to the season. on another side, our attacking is a bit clueless in the first half. and for conte, don't you think the substitution is quite late? i was really expecting the usual impact sub to come around the 70 minutes mark so that they got the time to conjure something..

tactical wise, IMO, the trio oscar-matic-kante is far too defensive minded. and with 4 games into the season, the omission of fabregas still not fully justified. nonetheless, 1 point gain is much better than nothing.

how are we going to defend vs coutinho and co.?

first..easy win? nonsense.

Fabregas was effective because he is a fresh leg..so no one really closing him down giving more time to deliver great passes.

second, where will he play?

Kante, Oscar and Matic all solid.

Conte's selection was justified, maybe subs timing a little bit late..but it can go either way..so I prefer to stick to Conte's decision.

Can't believe we didn't put this game to bed. I think our gameplay lacked intensity and better finishing.

That was a clear foul on cahill and it cost us. Worryingly JT looks set for a spell on the sidelines and zouma isn't fully fit yet. Oh well. Looks like a baptism of fire for luiz vs liverpool.
