iinm, ads served by Google is based on your profiling.

new devices are more likely to get such ads.

I was using a new device and started getting these ads. it wasn't happening on my old device.

what you can do:
* report those ads.. that English one I could click X on the banner ad that appeared on LYN forum. after that, it's no longer appearing

* another method is to disable JavaScript for now

I had this on my new device:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

luckily this ad seems to be broken, but managed to still report it by clicking X.

Affected user reporting in. I think is better for us to state what phone and what scenarios did these ads appear.

Phone: HTC 10 / HTC One M7 / HTC One M8
Connectivity: WiFi & Mobile Data
Occurrence: Only on forum.lowyat.net
Note: Happened to all my devices. Haven't occur when using my Nexus 9 tho

This is incredibly annoying as it happens only on this forum  mad.gif
I've tried everything, clearing chrome app data and cache, resetting advertisement ID, clearing google app data and cache, clearing browsing history, running anti virus apps and none remove this stupid popup. Someone from lowyat forum please fix this!  bangwall.gif  vmad.gif  mad.gif

just checking.. new device?

also, I think clearing browser history, etc might make it worse.

the ads are served by Google owned company and it's based on your profiling. I only got these ads on my new device.

you guys might also want to check your Google Settings under go settings -- Google. if ad personalIzation not enabled, I suspect likely to get more such ads.

can you check settings - Google -- ads and see if you have ad personalization enabled?

for me.. I'm only getting these ads on my new device.. that I just started using yesterday.

my old device.. no such issues.

anyway, I know disabling JavaScript will stop these ads but it might also cause the website you're browsing not to work properly.
