Forum admin: REPORTING POPUP ADS

Please assist in reporting popup ads from Google Ads so that we can block them from our side. Please the following in your report:
- Screenshot of the popup message
- Screenshot of the ad banner that causes the popup
- The link (URL) where the popup ad links to (!! IMPORTANT)

Ive been getting some kind of rogue popup ads when browsing LYN only, no matter how i try to reset Chrome, reset ad ID, the popup will still randomly appear , only on LYN forums, no matter on WiFi or on data network, here is the post I made in the s7 edge thread thinking I am the only one experiencing the issue

QUOTE(Boy96 @ Aug 25 2016, 03:08 AM)
Beem getting this kind of popups while surfing LYN, doesn't happen on my other phones though. Already tried clear data on chrome, reset ad ID but still doesnt solve the problem. Any other suggestions except for hard reset? Tried to scan with malwarebytes and avast but both reports nothing

Turns out its not only me, some others had the same exact issue as well. So its definitely not from my side..

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Aug 25 2016, 06:23 AM)
Yep, this happened quite often to me too. LYN need to check their ads.

I have this problem on my 6P too and it happens very frequently on Lowyat. Tried resetting Advertisement ID, clear chrome data and cache, clear browsing history but still getting this damn pop up. So frustrating, can complain to Lowyat admin?

it's so annoying I've tried every damn suggestions/solutions and still no luck. The worst thing about this popup is u can't hit the back button to get back to ur own page. You will have to close the tap and re-search the page you were on. Damn annoying  mad.gif  vmad.gif

Hopefully can find the culprit causing this malicious ads to popup

This is incredibly annoying as it happens only on this forum mad.gif
I've tried everything, clearing chrome app data and cache, resetting advertisement ID, clearing google app data and cache, clearing browsing history, running anti virus apps and none remove this stupid popup. Someone from lowyat forum please fix this! bangwall.gif vmad.gif mad.gif

It happened to me just now on chrome. On chrome, I cannot even load this thread, it's redirecting me to some URL. Posting this using Firefox.

Try switching to mobile data and report back.
I suspect something is wrong with the ads in this forum, hope the mods can reply here ASAP.

Chrome is the best when it comes to performance on android devices. And most adblock requires root, those that doesn't require root are VPN adblock and it will affect the internet speed. It's obvious that something is wrong with this website vmad.gif

It seems many people has been affected, hopefully more users will report here and get the forum mods/admins attention.
It's becoming a very frustrating experience visiting forum lowyat these days. bangwall.gif vmad.gif ranting.gif

You'll eventually stumble upon this on other sites that run the Google Adsense network.

Google can't get their shit together in keeping out malware from their ad network. The problem is pretty easy to reproduce, but hard to troubleshoot as the ad loading code is convoluted.

Unfortunately running lowyat.net without Adsense is not really an option either...
