I am currently using this cheapo transparent casing, and it is a perfect fit for MTK version.
- all 3 holes at the top part
- rear camera and fingerprint
- bottom speakers and mic

Iinm, SD version top part have a center gap, rear camera & fingerprint is aligned slightly lower than mtk, and the bottom speakers & mic have 5 holes each instead of 6 as per mtk.

Yeah, i hate powerbank.

just got a black RN4 MTK 3GB RAM 32GB ROM yesterday. using the ultra thin slim crystal clear soft tpu case (lol what a name) and it fits well. however, still don't have any screen protector so currently still not removing the front cover

I used RN4 for week...

Good Side
1. Battery life can last 2-2.5 days easily per charge without gaming, hence network limited to 3G...
2. Pre-installed antivirus, cleaner, battery optimizer, etc...
3. Double tap on touchscreen to wake up the phone...

Bad Side
1. Bad that memory card supported under FAT32 only but not big deal, not planned to store 4GB file inside portable devices...

Agreed. I even install double tap apps to lock screen 😂..

And i cannot not to compare with my previous samsung phone but hey for this price can't complaint much 😅

Some of things i dont like abt miui;
1. Gallery no grid view
2. Cannot change font style due to copyright issue
3. No preview message on status bar
4. Recent used apps sometimes dont continue last visit but instead start again from beginning
5. Red underline for incorrect spelling cannot turn off

Ooooo I never tried the mem slot yet as I am using dualsim full-time. Selected sim always on 4G and standby on 3G.

i means my GSM network limited to 3G due to old SIM card, nothing to do with RN4...
However i stick to 3G network for the moments as 4G network not fully mature yet as RN4 may consume more battery to keep scanning 4G network...

Anyhow thing that i dun like after few days using RN4:

- camera still sucks. I owned Redmi2 before and the camera is worse than my 2011 iPhone 4 . But considering the price its acceptable. And for RN4 the camera is good, but not great. Putting it side by side with my 2014 Huawei P7 also lose edi

- GPS slow. The same happened to my Redmi2 before. It took forever to have a GPS lock when using Waze. Compared to my P7 that locks almost instantly when i open the app, the RN4 still a bit slow.

Other than that i'm happy with the performance and battery.. yes it might not have fancy features like wireless charging, NFC etc like on my wife's S7E, but considering this thing cost 1/3 of S7E and packs a lot of punch it definitely value for money
