I went with 4X for its better camera. So far good white balance, good sharpness corner to corner...

Below some indoor shots...only resized no other adjustments...

Hola! I'm planning to get a RN4 2GB/16GB version for parents but I have a couple questions and appreciate sifu-sifu can assist me:

1) Based on my 1 hour research, seem like the current best discount I can get is from Terabyte in Lazada at here . However I couldn't see the UOB discount logo there. Is it that the discount will be automatically applied after I fill in my friend UOB card details? Or any recommendation from gemfive?

2) From Mi.com official website @ http://www.mi.com/redminote4/, they're are only listing the 3GB/32GB as the base version. I couldn't anything related to 2GB/16GB variant. Wonder is the model really exists lol ? sweat.gif

UOB I think is Tuesday...

this is snapdragon version right?

got so many good reviews about battery life. Not surprised as 625 is so damn efficient. I predict redmi note 4 Snapdragon will INCREASE price when officially launch in Msia

Bro I'm using MTK redmi note 4 right now and I love it. Its fast, very fast bcs I edit a lot of raw photo using this phone camera (app called freedcam on playstore).

The 625 is just much more battery efficient. Not better performance wise.

I also read on anandtech that redmi note 4 MTK rarely use a72 cores unless heavy task

The only thing is the GPU on this phone is slightly worse than 650.

But have to give credit where its due liao. MTK get around 6-7 SOT but Snapdragon double that. Its crazy  rclxub.gif but with 625, you sacrifice HEAVY task power.

... depends on personal work flow and the desired photo "look"...

With the SD/IMX, I hardly need to do much corrections. If any, it also starts with a better base image.

For my case, SD is faster to get a photo out...MTK is powerful but I'd probably waste a lot more time editing...

Its very clear the marketing spread yo...

RN4 x20 = wee bit more power
RN3 650 = power
RN4 625 = battery + cam

Pick which ever right? Lol...
