Is it worth to update latest miui 8.2.2.0 stable? Currently mine miui 8.1.14.0. How often do u guys update?

Finally got my RN4 black.. was waiting for grey actually but my phone decided to not hold charge anymore thus i kind need a new phone right away.. coming from a phone without fingerprint scanner, i must say it is really convenient to have

anyway i bought a silicon case before the phone arrived, it fits fine but some alignments are not correct
nonetheless still offer protection, i can live with it for now.. rm4 only

dont bombard the shop la. the culprit is the curved screen. the girl who installed mine was frank to say that she cudnt guarantee a perfect fit.... but she tried. will take a pix later.

authorized could sell u an AP set. Safer call mi check serial because when warranty they dont check with the authorized shop they check your serial.

Aduh, u didn't read what I wrote about this issue... you need to look for a sp that has a liquid and brush to make it stick on the edges. I got my sp from china, I would just ignore the local stuff since they don't sell RN4X sp .

I've seen those sp with top cutout like that, either the very cheapo ones or from Nillkin. That is likely for RN4 MTK, not RN4 SD. Is 2.5d edge on RN4 SD screens and not RN4 MTK? Just a note, the edge gaps were much wider on my RN4 SD when applying sp.

RN4 SD malaysia use RN4x SD tempered glass, so get it from china. They sell lots of it.

Hi all, I bought a tempered glass for my RN4 (MY set) and it fits quite well. Here is the link

The tempered glass has colored bazel so you won't see the white edges because of the curved screen. Although I must say, the White version is not white enough and there's a bit of see through, but still bearable and barely noticeable.

received my RN4 Malaysia Black unit just now. sealed unit. now just updated firmware to 8.2.2.0 MCFMIDL (originally it came with 8.1.15.0 MCFMIDI)

camera is Samsung S5K5E8 (front) / S5K3L8 (back). fingerprint GOODIX.

Wow Phone (Lazada) = Direct D (inside invoice).

So same camera as MTK. The only good thing about RN4 Tak Pro is battery life.
