Actually u need proper camera bag. Certain camera bag may contain linen or worse "painted" bag that strips off aftrr few years. If not careful those tiny particles will enter lens and hassle to clean. Of course there customised solution like having loose bag and using lens pouch as compartment......why not just buy a proper one instead?
*
Not everyone can afford a proper camera bag brand. But as you said it gives you a peace of mind to purchase one with proper paddings. In the end it depends on the built quality of the bag that people choose to use.

There is the free bag that comes with camera promotion, lol. And you can get one with rm99 if you dont mind used or older model.

I said "proper" camera bag, Not branded bag, mind you.

Samsung camera bag for example which is pretty big only cost rm45 in lazada. Dont know if the bag still there so check it out.

buy based on space u need (compartment for camera, lens, mem card/charger/battery etc). like others said invest a good camera bag. below RM500 good enough for long term from my experience. for my daily I only bring normal bag pack + camera inserts.

don't dig too deep u might 'poison' your self. tongue.gif brows.gif

Halo, i wanna ask if X - M1 is still a good 1st camera for me?
Upgrading from smartphone..
Comparing M1 to A2
It's cheaper a lot but still sufficiently equipped ..

IMHO, I will suggest you to go for a better body if you have the budget, like xt1, xt10 or xe2. XA and XM is PASM mode while the 3 I mentioned is shutter speed dial, personally I prefer XT series control. And one more shortcoming of XA and XM series is no EVF, under strong sunlight will be a pain. And more shortcomings is no level, cannot remote control, less Fn button, no classic chrome (strong poison biggrin.gif).

Back to your question, if you don't mind no evf, no touch screen, it is a high cp value camera. Used xm1 around rm600 can shoot photo much better than phone quality, of coz when match with prime lens. I didn't own A2, so cannot comment comparison between A2 and M1. But the only difference should be the sensor, otherwise all same. Again, go to a better body like xt10 which has evf and tilt screen will never fail you. Or higher price xt1 for the bigger evf, better screen, and weather seal. And lastly, XA3 is much better than XM1 for beginner.

Most standard camera bag (sling type), the ones with camera brand in front, that comes free is actually pretty robust and good enough. Some even outlast the expensive ones, lol. If you switch mostly for style or stealth or extra perks you think you need.

Examplr DNA temba bag for quick access to camera via zip above.

Hi guys, I would need some of your advice on whether when will the viewfinder/screen of x-t1 show the actual picture condition as and when we changed the camera settings. i.e. ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc.

From what I noticed, only when i changed the aperture settings, the camera will show image updates. Or is it only in A mode can be seen, and not the rest of the other modes.

by default it is WYSISYG unless u turn off "Preview exposure in manual mode"

if you put ISO as auto or Shuttle as auto, it will try to adjust iso/shuttle to the exposure you set until it can't achieve the limit of setting that you pre configure

try test manual iso and manual shuttle to see the difference..

I had a Lowepro Fastpack 250 for my Nikon D90 with multiple lenses, etc. Even after I downgraded to X-T1 with one lens, still use the same bag, but was a pain using it as a carry-on during flights.

Now with my X70, I use a Lowepro Viewpoint CS60, dump into my 5.11 Rush 12 for flights. When jalan-jalan, I carry it with my Peak Design Field Pouch. Never been happier with my setup, cut down my gear and still able to take great photos.

I have the Fastpack 350 and which is unused now. doh.gif I know how it feels. laugh.gif I was using it with my 5D + few heavy L lenses.
I will check out your bags. laugh.gif Checked. I don't think the Peak Design Field Pouch fits my X-T1 with some lenses. laugh.gif
I will stick to my Lowepro Passport Sling then. biggrin.gif
