Im using my finger scanner no problem at all...

the scanner thing is awesome...unlocked phone before i even look at it

how the finger scanner works? when the phone is off, you just lightly touch the home button then it will unlock ?

I think i tried yesterday, cannot work, need to like press hard on the home button only can ... is it supposed to work like that? I have my IRIS ON also ... maybe cant have both ?

Need to push like usual... this fingerprint scanner not like N6P

Yup agree with u.. i test with my left eye close it work surprisingly... hahaha... but trying again didnt work at all

My Note7 fingerprint sensor always hit or miss.

I tried to register 2 profile for each thumbs. One for vertical and for horizontal. Now works better than before. But Still miss once a while. can't beat Nexus 6p though.

A bit nitpicking IMO. I tried the s7 edge/note7 and they are plenty fast for the average user. Remember that the XDA community is geared towards power users and stock Android purists and they will hate anything that has the word Samsung and TouchWiz

Also worth noting that they tried that with the Qualcomm version. The international exynos variant is plenty fast...

oo still need press ... so i'm normal ... thanks ! sorry ah kampung boi upgrade from note 3 haha ... like that i think i use iris more yeng Coz i remember reading in v2 or v3 someone say no need press, can save hard buttons .... since both method also need to press button then i use iris ba ...

just sharing my personal opinion..

i'll probably not go with any warranty extension including screen crack thingy.

from what i understand, GG5 is software, so not so prone to crack from drops. but it's more prone to scratches due to its nature being softer.

i see more likely the Note7 wll get scratches because of the pen.

unless that screen protection program also covers scratches, else... kinda waste. unless an year end, purposely go damage the screen and claim...

i think this program more suitable for those harder GG... probably earlier gen Note or even S7.

but ya... maybe still consider the one extra year hardware warranty. though my experience with Samsung equipment (including non smartphone stuff), they can last many years...
