I have received my RN3P from terrabyte, global rom, overall very satisfied as I bought it at RM516 only.

At first started it couldn't connect to my home wifi nor my phone hotspot (my current phone)

Got worried and searched the web, apparently there were some Malaysia users posted the same problem on mi forum as well.

After 10mins and few times of connect reconnect and re-save password, it seems to fixed itself and now started to use as normal.

Haven't plug in SIM card as the old SIM card is too old and not suitable for cutting, will seek digi for replacement tomorrow with rm10. Aiks.

I got a miui8 alert on My phone. But it's all in Chinese. The alert brings me to a Chinese site too.

That alert is to tell you that MIUI 8 is coming soon and also you too wait for OTA or if you can't wait then you can download andd update it. I would rather wait for OTA.
