Why Redmi Note 3 don't have Double Tap 2 Wake Up function while Mi Max got? I thought they're using similar hardware?

Camera settings also changed, you dont need to swipe left or right anymore everything is on the main screen (filters and settings). Only changes I didn't like is the drop down notification menu. Very samsungish.

didn't find the option to enable tap to wake screen in RR.
since it's based on cm13 well maybe it's not implemented.

I got a miui8 alert on My phone.  But it's all in Chinese. The alert brings me to a Chinese site too.

Should be,  double confirm your IMEI with Mi Malaysia. Btw,  your charger is 3 pin type?

upgraded successfully!! Seems smooth but still too early to tell.

I have also downloaded quad root checker and found that it is NOT fixed!! Still have 2 vulnerabilities as before upgrade.

What type of cable you guys using to charge the phone? I'm using this Remax 'supposedly' fast charging cable with Aukey wall usb charger ( http://www.lazada.com.my/original-aukey-4-...5-11253602.html ). The charger port claim 2.1A but when I'm checking current using apps its not very consistent, its goes between 700~1300. And it takes around 3hours to full charge. Which cable type/brand gives more consistent power rate? can recommend one?

In MIUI8 no longer need access the 4636 menu.
Juz go "setting>simcard & mobile networks>YES 4G>Preferred network type> choose Prefer LTE"
One more thing....set your Locale as India, then you off to go for SMS/Call and LTE data.
Make sure to enable Volte too "setting>simcard & mobile networks>Volte enabled"

Yup...theirs are TDD-LTE, working on SIM 1 slot only for dual/hybrid smartphone.
VoLTE setting only appear after set Locale = India.
Without enabling VoLTE u cant sms/call, but data still working.

if eu.ROM cant set "Locale>india" in setting ka?

i can't unlock my bootloader because it says not cannot verify my device. Anyone know how to contact xiaomi to get them fix this issue? Lots of people posting the problem in miui forum but no solution
