Yes, and there are ppl already porting MIUI 8 from special edition that run on android 6.0 to redmi note 3. Reading on the review seems like things is working flawlessly except the fingerprint problem with newer fp hardware.

And i keep hoping that they release it together with android 6.0. LOL

Guys, I've been on Dev ROM miui8 for about 2 weeks (EU version). and of course everything works fine and love how MIUI works. but this morning, after long time i didnt check XDA. I saw the OFFICIAL CM13,

Now my question is, anyone used that ROM before?? I'm comfortable with my MIUI8 now but u know I love flashing, and in 1 week time im going to Europe, I cant risk my phone have GPS or some other WIFI problem... Should i flash and try or should i just stay with what i got now.... that official CM13 looks tempting thou.

Yeah, mine is focaltech. anyway, i previously tried the unofficial CM13. I got no problem with it but I just feel like flashing around so i got back to miui8 and stick with it until now. Anyway, now what hold me back is the camera apps from miui, i dont say its good but i think definitely better than other non stock camera out there. I did get the miui8 camera apk, but my question is, after flashing CM13 can i install and use the miui8 camera apk without any issue?

So MIUI8 is official now? hahaha....

anyway, as my experiment the other day, i flashed CM13 official from XDA forum + Radon V2.4 + Root... everything is perfectly find. and battery is good too.... i've been on the battery idle for almost like 1 hour and still no sign of dropping. and WEIRDLY enough, the problem from MIUI which is the Android and Android System battery drain is no more there. my highest battery consumption from the battery chart is my Screen now.

Fingerprint works (focaltech), Call works, data works, 3G/4G works, i haven dive to see if there are Volte or not but i dont care about that. Camera front/back works perfectly, storage mount works, basically everything works -.- Up to this point, everything works perfectly fine. Not sure why in XDA ppl complaining this and that and yet I dont see any flaw. What else i can say.........

Oh ya, not sure why but i can do multi tasking much better now, im on the 2gb ram variant of RN3pro. Anything you guys wanna know about CM13, can ask me, I'm doing a in depth testing now.

That is not bug, for MM, everytime u restart your phone, the first time unlocking will need the pin... after that fp will works as usual.

I want to know if I use CM13 theme will cause battery drain? Now i did not use any theme, just the default, but after i install some cm13 theme from the playstore, will this lead to battery drain?

There are 2 forum link for CM13, one by santosh, another by thestrix. The official CM13 now is from theStrix i believe.

But anyway, after using CM13 from santosh, i face some unusual lag or weird issue, but for the official one. It's totally perfect, been with it for a day now.... so far, everything perfect. GPS for pokemon and for driving is normal...

And what amaze me is, from 100% battery, dropping to 95% battery, i have already 40minutes SOT.... is that crazy or battery calibration problem, I dont know but i just have good feeling of getting 9-10 hours SOT. hahahaha

On top of that, i use Greenify, the new greenify got the Shallow Hibernation and Aggresive doze feature... so, i guess thats how i got better battery backup?
