I just bought another RN3P from terrabyte as well. But they did not send me the official invoice, and state their warranty. Do you know how to contact them ?

yeah u need to manually request them for the invoice and gemfive will email you

I assume OTA means automatic updates on my phone using data or net.
Manual would be to download the actual update file and update manually?

if you download via miui download website, then it's manual update. OTA update will comes to your phone notify you.

Why not stick with MIUI as MIUI 8 almost out. I prefer CM too though haha. But I'm taking the if it ain't brok, don't fix it approach. I'm getting like 8 hours sot . In happy with that.

When i order from Gem5 i got my phone within 2 days, ordered thursday nite delivered by monday, my place is kinda far off from major town so no saturday delivery.. But when i order from Lazada it took it around 5 days to arrive, donno who's at fault tho..

Global ROM is the same as xiaomi malaysia's ..they also using Global ROM.

while vendor rom is different story..

It's my bad luck then. Ordered on Wednesday night and one week after still no sign of it. What makes me uneasy was, last Friday, I was told it was packed and waiting for courier Gdex. As of this morning, still not picked up by Gdex yet.

Hmm notice something today, b4 packing off the RN3 i got from lazada to send to my sister, i did a turn on test and i notice there was a notification on coming MIUI8 in chinese.. I did not flash the global ROM version 7.5.3 i downloaded from MIUI website coz when i receive the phone it oredi came with the same global ROM version. Weird thing is that my own RN3 which i flashed myself to the latest global ROM 7.5.3 still now did not have any popup of the MIUI8 notification.. Is this normal?

China ROM still official miui, just no google apps..comes with chinese appstore instead and those chinese apps.
If vendor ROM, you'll see it's china ROM, with google apps..but a lots of ads...

Redmi note 3 pro AP set and Mi Malaysia set is basically same hardware. AP set depends on seller, sometime they help you flash to global rom same as Mi Malaysia's ROM.. satugadget and directd afaik flash to global rom.

normal. some other users also got such notification even tho they're on miui global stable.
