v3x can flash to what sort of firmware? got Japanese firmware ka?

i dunno...maybe is just for u to set in information so that u can refer to it in future. but i store all my contacts in sim card...so cannot enter birthdate those kind of thing...

nop.. juz update the firmware la.. like got newer version then update it to fix previous fw 1 bugs lor..

I re-flashed my phone recently, and now my caller ID is "off", i cant
see who is calling, only the number shows, no names what so ever...

i hve re-set the ID to show/ network only, but still i cant get it to work

i'm considering this phone. question is for new handsets. how do u check on the firmware status or type? is there anysite to update the firmware or check on buggy issues?

hei guys...i heard that v3x only support up to 512 mb ler....btw,i'm only using 64mb memory card. so,no problem so far..

minecame with a 128card but hve been using a 512/1GB,no probs except
some lag with the 1GB which is not too often...

not a good idea....
and fyi, i'm alrd using the latest ori firmware.... just sent this phone for repair n they have updated my firmware...

(btw, a piece of advice from me to prospective buyers, don't buy this phone!

i'm experiencing tons of problems with this phone such as bad line, slow sms, low batt life, can't gprs & 3G and etc etc... list goes on forever... i just received my phone from motorola n they said they just changed my motherboard for me n i'm still experiencing all of the same problem... will send this phone back to moto again!

in conclusion, dumb phone... no offence to other v3x users, it's just my personal experience with this phone... there r tons of phone better than this but not as cool though! i have to admit that this phone is the best looking phone out there in the market)

I definately agree with you.. not all the v3x gives this much problem..mine has its own but not as bas as some of yours nevertheless this phone only has looks but software wise it sucks..

u got ur point...i dun like the sms part also..really really slow..nokia is the best phone for smsing.. but u said that it cant gprs and 3G..thats kinda weird. I tot its a 3G phone?? suppose no problem to use 3G service 1,rite??
