Just as a disclaimer, I am not targeting you in specific to vent out my anger as I understand that you are merely doing your job. But it was rather illegear's decision which completely screwed me over.

Rather than acknowledging the problems and workaround about it why are you guys only highlighting certain points by itself and putting them in specific context to put yourselves in a better light?

The monitor upgrade for one, is really unfair if you think of it from a consumer's POV. Imagine being in my shoe where I was initially quoted a much cheaper price for the panel with no mention whatsoever for additional installation charges, Only to drive all the way to the store and informed that the price is now substantially higher and an additional installation charge applies too. True, i was already tempted eitherway but should I had known the product itself is infested with problems  I would not had pursued it. At that time, the 120hz upgrade was already readily available on the website as an upgrade to existing laguna. It was not until I refunded it that I was told a different MOBO was used for it to function properly.

To begin with, the panels were evidently not tested extensively by the manufacturers and instead we, the consumers were used as guinea pigs for it. So not only was my time wasted and money wasted (Petrol and grab fees) I was frustrated out of my wits too.

As for the cracks with the panel, If you put it in context that the screen was fine until I cracked it much later afterwards while completely ignoring the fact that said LCD's bezels were loose, wouldnt it be really unfair to me? With the bezels loose and creaking, it was only a matter of time that the screen cracks.

As for the keyboard, since I hardly use the key itself, let alone the whole FN bar, It really puzzles me how did the keys even dislodge themselves and have its hindges broken off to begin with. If by any chance it was actually my fault, then i apologize for it. HOWEVER, if it was indeed illegear's fault for it, then shame on you for guilt tripping me with the 'out of goodwill' statement.

After the whole debacle with the keyboard and LCD's loose bezel, I was exceptionally meticulous with my laptop's condition. Which was why any damage or scratches can be easily identified by me. The deep scratch on my palm rest was exceptionally obvious as it is the most commonly seen area of the laptop. As soon as I got back my laptop from the latest RMA, i immediately noticed it and blurted out "Ehh why got scratch?" however no one seem to took notice. Seeing as everyone was prioritizing the ghosting issue instead, I did not pursue the matter any further and ignored it. However, since illegear decided to nitpick the 'wears and tears' of my laptop, I could no longer ignore it especially if one of the deep scratches was not made by me!

In any case, based on the 1 star reviews on illegear's facebook page, it seems really apparent that illegear chooses to defend their staff members rather than acknowledging their flaws and faults. How else would you explain my complaints regarding the lousy rma services? Even if there is any foulplay involved, we wouldn't know for sure now.

As for the ghosting issue, since it was already acknowledged as a product flaw, Isnt it fair that a defective product is exchanged for a proper working one? I sure as hell did not see 'ghosting' as a product feature when I decided to purchase the Laguna.

And to begin with, it was really astounding that I went all the way from getting a Full 1-1 new unit exchange, to a new mobo and then to a salvaged mobo. If i had known this, i would not had even bothered renewing my warranty.

And by the way, don't simplify the RMA attempts to a mere 3rd or 4th RMA because even my friends/family and associate knows that i've stepped into your office two to three times every fortnite since February.

Azim don't get me wrong, I am not angry with you as I know you have been exceptionally helpful with me and no one else aside from you from the illegear team understands my plight. But seriously, illegear has disappointed me time after time again and this time it is really the last straw. There are a lot of other things that I wish to point out here but out of respect for you, Im holding myself back.

At any rate, Im done replying to this already because no matter what I write, Illegear will do its upmost best to protect their reputation. And it does not change the fact that instead of owning up to their mistakes and taking responsibility, Illegear will deny all wrong doings on their part. Might as well resign to the fact that i've burnt close to RM10k.

So I gave Illegear an ultimatum where they either a.) Refund me in full amount that I paid for my Laguna plus upgrades (Not factoring in MY losses calculated at around RM1.3k) or b.) Provide me with a NEW, FLAWLESS working unit. To which they tried to cut their corners and instead provide my old chassis with newer Coffeelake parts. As in theory, the coffeelake parts with new monitor SHOULD work flawlessly, I gave them that small leeway. HOWEVER, I was then informed that even the new coffeelake parts have their own bugs and they instead reverted to the OLD DEFECTIVE kabylake mobo, even reassuring me that said parts are already tested and working. NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES AFTER I TURN ON MY LAPTOP, VOILA! GHOSTING ISSUE IS RIGHT THERE!!

So yeah, here you go. Clearly you underestimated this issue and thought I was joking well guess what? I have already reported your company to the KPDNKK and MCMC. Come Monday, my lawyer will issue you a letter too. Had enough fun yet?

I gave them too many chances already before this, and they took it for granted. Gotten a lot of PMs in both LYN and FB forum lately after my reveal. A lot of ppl are suffering from abuses too but just not to my extent.

edit:For now illegear's staff claimed that it was not their intention to bribe me over it, more of a compensation for all the troubles. So i'm holding it back and seeing how it goes first.

Hey guys who owns a laguna here. (Kabylake or Coffeelake) could you guys do me a favor and test if the right side of your display panel is magnetic? For some reason after illegear's "repair attempts", the right side of my display panel is now magnetic

I apologize for the inconvenience caused and after reading your post, we admit there are some misunderstanding / miscommunication when we communicated with you, but don't worry I will address them in a day or two after communicating with the team members to make sure we are on the same page.

Secondly, can I arrange a face-to-face meeting with you this Tuesday/wednesday evening?

Thirdly, I do not appreciate your offensive comment in the post above. Saturday and Sunday are my day off and I do not go to the office usually. I was at an event in Pahang and informed by Azim that you were looking for me during your visit, but I didn't remember you have made an appointment with me during my holiday prior to your visit. On Friday, I asked my colleague Azim the date and time you come to the office to collect your machine and he told me that you would either come on Saturday or Monday as per conversation on the whatsapp, there was no specific date and time of your visit.

Lastly, we did not try to buy you off to remove your FB/LYN post. Before the weekend, I told Azim to explain to you that we really did not scratch your Laguna and requested you to pinpoint the scratch you think we made on your machines upon collection. If it was just a misunderstanding we would appreciate if you could remove that from your post. However, he told me that you didn't check the system and pinpoint the scratches during your visit.

If it's possible, I would really like to talk to you personally to clear the mistake / miscommunication (120Hz, thermal repaste, claw scratches etc), to make sure we are on the same page so we can have a solution of the issues.

Firstly I would like to address that I do not appreciate you addressing my Real name in this forum here as there is a reason why I specifically used a LYN persona. I am pretty sure things will not go comfortably too for you if I addressed your real name here.

As for the offensive remarks directed towards you, I do admit that I got too caught up in the moment and I sincerely apologize for it. However, I hope you understand where I am coming from as a consumer, going through that ridiculous RMA process with stil no proper resolution in sight. Other consumers have voiced out ther opinions to me too via FB/LYN pm's so I am definitely sure that I am not the only one suffering. Let me remind you too that aside from stress/grievance and additional cost, this issue has also costed me one client when I did not have access to my laptop to work properly during the down time. I for one would like to keep my private and professional life separate but since I placed my trust in illegear's products the end result is inevitable.

For the scratch issue, I was actually advised by my lawyer to keep things as it is in order to preserve the quality after the most recent RMA. I truly did not wish to mention it before this however since you guys highlighted and pointed it out insistently during the 1 to 1 attempt, stating it is one of the main reasons why your manufacturer did not want to honor the warranty, I had no choice but to point out my experience with it. I was pissed out of my mind because I for one am very meticulous and careful with my laptop especially so after the key and bezel issues. Therefore, any cosmetic damages will be extremely noticeable for me and I am pretty sure I have no means to create it unless I use a screwdriver constantly on my palmrest.

I have actually editted my second post to point out that the bribe attempt was in actual fact a compensation for all of the troubles that I went through. I will edit out the rest of my post too so thank you for pointing it out.

Since there are actions being taken, I will retract my lawyer's letter for now to clear things up and make sure we are on the same page. Azim is a very good and responsible customer service and he usually doesn't like to pass customers complaint to the upper management as he thinks it is his responsibility. Hello, can i know is there any way to make my raven laptop auto switch to the keyboard light setting that i have set after changing from gaming mode to equilibrium mode in the raven command center?

I truly did not wish to mention it before this however since you guys highlighted and pointed it out insistently during the 1 to 1 attempt, stating it is one of the main reasons why your manufacturer did not want to honor the warranty, I had no choice but to point out my experience with it. I was pissed out of my mind because I for one am very meticulous and careful with my laptop especially so after the key and bezel issues. Therefore, any cosmetic damages will be extremely noticeable for me and I am pretty sure I have no means to create it unless I use a screwdriver constantly on my palmrest.

I have actually editted my second post to point out that the bribe attempt was in actual fact a compensation for all of the troubles that I went through. I will edit out the rest of my post too so thank you for pointing it out.

Since there are actions being taken, I will retract  my lawyer's letter for now to clear things up and make sure we are on the same page. Again, thank you for finally reaching out to me personally and I hope you guys will take things more seriously as there are obviously a lot of unhappy customers going through the same issue as me but having no other means to voice out their feelings.

Hi haheho123 I believe in this case, a manual reinstallation for the Control Center would be necessary. Kindly find the application, which can be retrieved of the driver suite for ILLEGEAR Raven from this link: http://illegear.com/drivers/Raven_coffee.rar
