how much cost to repair and replace?

Since the newly-announced Onyx has 8th gen Intel Core H-series CPUs, is there any chance that the Raven line of laptops will be updated with 8th gen Intel Core H-series CPUs?

We do have three customer supports handling the support whatsapp phone, Azim is one of them

This 8th Generation CPU, performance quite impressive, the I7 8750H 6 cores 12 Threads.

Gaming Performance about the same grade with I7 4790K and I7 6700K.

And also benefit with multi cores, performance same grade with Ryzen 1600x. big improvement compare to I7 7700HQ.

If pair with GTX 1070 (not MAX-Q), the bottleneck should be reduce.

Laguna's probably gonna get a CF update too, so you might just get your CF/1070 wish.

RAVEN, LAGUNA will both get Intel Coffeelake-H update, with new features as well.

i'm using a RS-15.

The latest update for windows caused this. I didn't revert because I deleted the windows.old.

Not sure what update, but it was a massive update, and caused this.

I'm okay with the nagging "errors". The problem is that it took out my HDMI port as well. So now for whatever reasons, the HDMI port refuses to work. I've used different cables, and different laptops. Just my RS-15, with the new windows update, makes it doesn't work.

Can anyone advice?

It can't be coincidence, even after installing NVIDIA updates, the problem doesn't go away at all.

Apologies for the delayed response. Is it possible for you to run a clean OS reinstallation on your system? Below are the steps to reformat, should you wish to perform;

1. Backup your important data first
2. Locate one 8GB pendrive for usage
3. Download the Windows 10 Installation Media from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
4. The tool will mount the Windows 10 ISO into the USB drive to make it bootable
5. Boot your laptop from the USB to enter into the recovery environment

played with the Onyx engineering unit at Illegear office over the weekend. i have to say... it looks really impressive and sturdy.

in fact, so sturdy that i am very tempted to get the Onyx now... :S

waiting for the "right" time to get onto this...

I'm divided between S5X and Onyx. Any feedback on pros and cons for each model? When we could order S5X with Coffeelake?

laguna user here. anyone having wifi reception issues?

i'm not sure if it's my router or the wifi card having problems..

getting jittery connections to my room on the laguna but connection to my phone is fine.

Cimo In terms of build quality, Onyx is sturdier and smaller in footprint in comparison to the S5X, but it is slightly thicker and about 100 grams heavier. Recommended because of its bezel-less screen design as well as the mechanical keyboard with per-key RGB control, but it doesn't feature the GTX 1070 yet.

We do not have a solid ETA yet regarding the Coffeelake refresh for the S5X, but we will of course make an official announcement soon once it has been released, stay tuned!
