Hello, I want to ask several questions regarding laguna laptop:

1) Can I assume that this newest entry is max q design laptop?
2) Is there a big gap difference in terms of performance and cooling factor, between laguna and S series?.
3) May I know why is there a difference in price when I want to go for gtx 1070 for laguna(RM999), s5(RM1099),s7(RM1199) and d5(RM1299) laptop?
4) Is it because the different types of laptop on handling the gpu performance? If so, then d5 can fully utilize the maximum performance of gtx 1070 compare to the three laptop that I have mention above?
4) Lastly, will there be an upcoming promotion in this month?

Hello kirawan regarding your enquiries:

1) Although it is slim, Laguna is not utilizing the MAX-Q technology technically, kindly note.
2) Not really a big gap, although if you are comparing between the two, Laguna > S-Series in terms of thermal management.
3) Difference in series mainly, S-Series are aimed towards professionals who demands heavy graphical performance & also more expendability in terms of RAMs and SSD/HDD. We also received bulk discounts on the Laguna units compared to the S-Series, that also explains the difference in price.
4) GPU performance should be similar between the two but the D-Series are much more reliable in terms of overclockability on A/C because of the larger power supply (330W vs 180W)

1) Does D5 compatible with razer core or any external gpu docks? since D5 have thunderbolt 3.
2) I'm not an audiophile person but since I'm curious about the sub-woofer, is there any significant impact in audio department if the laptop does not have the sub-woofer?
3) Is D5 deafult monitor screen 100% sRGB color coverage?

Regarding your questions:

1) Laguna is actually not based from Clevo, it's actually ILLEGEAR's custom design
2) Aluminium, but a thicker variant compared to the Z5, hence the weight
3) Laguna > Z5 > S5. Under heavy load, the estimation of the temperature is <68°C for GTX 1060 and <75°C for GTX 1070.


The RGB of the touchpad (as well as the power button & the keyboard) can be turned off. For the Clevo P950 model, we will announce it officially soon

Hello It can last around 7-8 hours upon normal surfing based on our testing, but some users reported that the battery lasted beyond 8 hours too. Depends on each user's usage actually, but the long lasting battery life is contributed because of the absence of the discrete GPU, kindly note.
