Btw, my friend told me that area has a lot of rompak case. According to him, kampung segambut is black area. Many rumah setinggan occupied by "foreigners". Anyone know about the area? Hope you can share some info. Hahaha.

Anyone got a clue if this period of 4 years (until it's built in 2022), we're required to pay bank interest until key collection, or do we not need to pay that since it's Rumawip?

The procedure will be the same as any non-gov sales unit you are purchasing out there. The only difference with RUMAWIP is you can't choose which unit to stay in.

After the ballot, all the procedure of sales and purchase will be taken over by UEM. KWP is only responsible to filter the "layak" applications according to the T&C.
Upon you successful application and happy with your ballot result, you will be given 6 months to settle the 10% down payment and bank loan application. You will start paying your bank depending on the completion rate of the project. The earlier you gotten the key, the better (less money to feed the interest) icon_rolleyes.gif

Yup overall is just normal procedure like u purchase private unit. But I don't think they give u 6 months settle the 10% instead is 1 month for settle the loan which stated in offer letter when u sign snp need pay the rest left over balance down payment.

Hmm, I’m working on my own business in sg for a number of years. with sg pr is easier. Now Myr up to 2.9 to sgd ..and sg economy is slowing and bank retrenchment ..I think can do a little parttime work sometime since I always go back kl for family and buy a house now.. was told it’s the buyers market now , Kl property much better than sg as lesser control .. so many options and many developers giving rebates ..free this and that, sg condo not even a fox car park given and the maintenance are like sgd 300 a month.. car park 100 sgd a month.

In Kl , There are some projects highly sort after with few unit loan rejected that are open now. these are very good units because it was first chosen at the beginning but due to their bank loan rejected. More over it maybe the better price as earlier first launch.

I’m a buyer myself and my gf too.
And I decide to be agent too but so much work and now got to work day and night to learn and pick the best projects and unit. So many .. .. almost go crazy.. work till mid night

Tbf there are alot of developments with the promise of "Pay nothing until receive key"

In this case of Rumawip being 300k, we'll still have to pay interest until key collection in late 2022 (or is it early 2022 hmm.gif ).

Technically we're still forking out an additional sum on top of the 300k for 48 months, which could range from 100 to 1000-1300 (ball park figure) each month. sad.gif

Please do correct if there's a mistake but AFAIK I'm not wrong here.

Undercon still has to pay full amount of 1.3k eventho we didnt receive the key for the unit ? Are you sure, because my friend told me he only has to pay a fraction of the monthly commitment until he receives the unit's key .

Well if it's the same as my other unit just completed, collected key a couple weeks ago...

Undercon I had to pay interest ranging from 100-1700 over about 1.5-2 years since bank release money to developer in stages sad.gif shakehead.gif

FYI, some Rumawip allow for unit choosing, its all depends on developer.
