Yesterday went to test drive new Saga and Persona, new saga slow pick up compare to persona.
Persona handling and space is much batter then saga.
Plan to get the persona premium but they value my Myvi 1.3(m) 2005 only at RM7k .
Ask for RM9k also they said susah nak dapat.
Lastly I said, will wait until next year for any rebate or promotion then only will consider.

Did u encounter any issues with your myvi? My personal advise, stick with it for the time being

Just to let you guys know, especially manual Persona User, that power delay between second and third gear has been fix. It's fixable, kindly brought your Persona to nearest to fix this issue. No more power dropping between second and third gear. Can accelerate like mad cow already

Hi guys. Have been driving a standard manual version for ~a week. Below are some of my observations/issues:

1. Shifting gear from 1 to 2, 2 to 3 often resulted in immediate drop in power. Have to press more to move the car. However once above ~2000rpm power delivery is good.
2. Engine braking (and its noise) is more noticeable after 3rd day driving.
3. Radio sound will suddenly silent for 1-3 sec at certain area...searching for better signal?
4. 1st pump recorded 6.1L/100km but manual calculation is about 6.8L/100km. ~70% highway.
5. wind noise slightly noticeable above 100km/h
6. no rattling or unusual noise, at the moment.
7. cabin noise, ride and handling is rated from good to great. Car feel solid during cornering and cruising.

did ur car radio will tune to volume 20 everytime whn u starting ur car engine?
whn i off the car engine, i always will turn down the volume to 10 or below, but whn i start the car engine again it return to volume 20... 

oso the radio signal is nt strong enough , results in the sound quality comes out from the speaker is not clear compared to CD/AUX playing. dunno is antenna or the CD player itself problem 

Standard variant? you can change the preset volume when you start the engine.
Mine also got problem with the radio, seems like the signal is not that strong.

ohh nice, seems like the manual variant sales is gud   

i oso facing tis, but mine is during 1st gear switch to 2nd gear and 2nd gear switch to 3rd gear will have sluggish feeling, but 3rd gear onward is smooth to go, now my car is clocking at 830km mileage, going to sc these few days, luckily saw ur post brom gonna tell them tis!!! thanks bro!!!    

The myvi now the engine feeling sluggish and slow pick up also the aircond is not cold anymore (already spend almost 2k for repair still cannot solved). The body have some scratches and a few small dent hare and there.
I have look into mudah, most of myvi same model as mine selling around 12k to 13k.

Basically we're te rare one, apparently driving with manual transmission can consider insane because everyone thought stuck in jam = rip left leg. They doesn't know the clutch for manual persona light as hell. You should get your engine check out, after the fix, the burst of power is great 

Manual variant still have many stock, me book end of September, SA said still have many stock. My car is ready now waiting document and registration.

Thinking of add fog lamp after get my car, any recommendation?

Regarding the drop in power for first few gears, it can be fixed at SC based on one of the member here and he seems pretty happy with it

The radio volume can be set to the volume level before it was turn off...under MENU, scroll until VOLUME...its in the radio manual, cant remember whc page.

about the engine oil they given for free service is syntium 800 right? i search on internet and found out, i doubt tat they are going to use PETRONAS SYNTIUM 800 10W-40 for the persona three years service, but tis oil is jus semi syntactic oil can only last for 7000km +, why are they (proton) giving away three years free service wit 10k mileage interval but use the oil can only last for 7000km        really dun understand
