Yes, you can call them to complain, ask them file a report so that you can further complain to CFM website.

You are using Streamyx 1Mbps?

that should be the way. my own experience when upgrade can happen over a phone call.

had my streamyx on my parent's homeline since I was in university until working.

I didn't bother with the bills. and my parent's just paid without checking.

until one day I found my rm80 (or was it rm60) without modem package was replaced with rm1xx with modem. didn't even get the replacement modem since they saw my belkin 11g devices were far more superior to tm's back then.

I followed up with tm. turned out that telemarketer called home, offered the new package, and for verification, asked for my mother's name.

I screwed tm - because back then there was only my youngest <6yrs old sister at home and she can also give that verification. and tm also can't retrieve the call record nor determine which telemarketer fucked up.

the refund for difference between original and replacement packages amounted to somewhere around rm1k. but tm refuses to issue cash/cheque but instead converted as credit balance - so we didn't need pay bills for probably 8 months to zerorise. but my father wants to cash out, so terminated the phone line, immediately re-sign the number again under my mother's name, and reassociate the streamyx login again.

so connectivity-wise, phone number is retained, downgraded streamyx speed, and we get back ~rm1k in cheque.

so anyway got my rebate due to *keep downtime* and different TMPoint gave different answers on my 8Mbps request (no chance of seeing unipai here so asking for 8Mbps instead)

1. TMPoint said my cable length is too long from DSLAM (lol k, my friend 2KM+ can get 8Mbps)
2. Another TMPoint said can support but port full.

sometimes these TM cs don't know what they are talking about... for example, one office using dedicated line and the login is xxx@tmnet. Every time when we need to contact tm, they keep telling us we should use xxx@streamyx to login... for yearsss, all tm cs failed, like no one teach them setting for dedicated line is different from others... so i guess the same applies when they talk to us about plans and bills.. not all cs really know the whole thing

ikr, but for me I just straight ask on their official twitter @TMConnects .. most of their dept doesn't link or update each other. some dept said can upgrade/free promo..then on tech dept said cannot.
