Picking up my TXPs now. Will not be installed until this Saturday, and that too may also not be running in the rig as well, since it depends on how quick the liquid loop can be prepped.

Gotta pay if you wanna play. R&D for a card that can do 4K60 in a single GPU isn't cheap. Historically, price will fall as the years go by. Otherwise the 1080 and the 1070 are capable of 1440p and 1080p high framerate. Those gaming with 4K monitors know what they got themselves into and this card presents the first option that allows 3840x2160 at 60Hz in a single card for the first time.

You can always appreciate technical performance even iif you're not in the market segment to get one.

Did you get GST'ed by Kastam Diraja?
*
Yup. But invoice cost is re-declared as a figure less than what it is. I'm thankful that these custom idiots are tech illiterate and don't know they're looking at something priced far beyond what I declared. tongue.gif

To create the illusion that it's a fair price, a figure has to be be set so that these idiotic customs feels like they're doing their job blood-sucking me and low enough so that it'll pass through without suspicion. Put the price low enough and it'll draw suspicion enough for them to check the price declared and item description. wink.gif

Rig is projected to be complete by end of August/first week of September. New color theme, new coolant, new lighted custom PSU shroud, new performance DDR4-3200 RAM, and new graphics cards in SLI of course. wink.gif

Wait. How did you get past customs ? Sorry I missed out on a lot in this thread. You bought it directly when you were in the states ? How much for that 1 sweet baby you owned ?
*
Can never get past them. Only pay GST. How much you pay GST depends on how much you declare it as. Controlling the invoice portion of the whole deal makes sure I only pay as minimum as I can. I can declare it as USD100 and it'll get off past without any tax, but that opens up the possibility of them suspecting its declared value and further price lookup. Need to be smart on what number you put in the invoice. tongue.gif

for what's it's worth, I did not declare it as USD100. Just a "figure" enough to get past them without raising suspicion. icon_rolleyes.gif

GTAV. On SLI Titan X Pascal.
120fps outside, 180fps inside building in-game. Everything maximum 4K, FXAA.
With everything on including maximum AA, 80-100fps.
Obscene level of performance!

What the... 4k maxium? Can screenshot few and share?
*
4K maximum with no AA. AA on 27 panel is no required. With AA at maximum it drops down to around 55-80 depending on situation.

Further benchmarks will come in video form, Han of Era of The Geeks will be doing a few soon. icon_rolleyes.gif

Test-benched.

Once the rig goes under water, that HB SLI Bridge wont fit, because of its odd shape. Will have to use EVGA's HB bridge instead.

Already shipping now to Malaysia. That official Nvidia HB SLI Bridge is for sale though once that happens. Just sayin' tongue.gif

More hints: I rather not go through the hassle of making a new [WTS] thread if I can find a reasonable enough buyer with reasonable enough price for this. Used precisely ONCE and placed back into original packaging because the benchmark run was completed today. The only way to sustain maximum core and memory clocks is by putting it under water.

The one in the photo was ROG Rampage V Edition 10.

The one it will be installed into my rig is ROG Rampage V Extreme.

Never thought the time would come for me to say this but that 4K 144Hz monitor needs to come fast.

Two TXPs consistently run above the 4K60 G-Sync monitor I have and once the framerate jumps outside of the 60fps refresh rate, tearing will occur back again. Setting V-Sync back to on, reintroduced input lag that comes with that turned on, so now I'm stuck with punishing the games as hard as I can so that the framerate falls below 60fps to avoid tearing.

Yesterdays benchmark runs include GTAV and Dying Light. GTAV at 4K everything max except AA at FXAA, spits out 120-180fps that causes massive tearing during the in-game benchmark run, especially apparent in the transition where the jet plane leaves the city and the camera pans down to the driving portion. Pushing it to the absolute maximum with AA as well, draw distance, city populations, and "Ignore Suggested Limit" ON, brings it down to 55-70fps, that falls within that 60fps ceiling of the monitor to prevent tearing. I should try using frame limiter or DSR in the NV Control Panel next.

The same goes with Dying Light in 4K. Massive tearing when outside of 60fps. Framerates consistently go triple digits with everything maximum.

Sometimes, having too much power is also problematic. Never thought the day would come where I had to LIMIT the irresponsible amount of power coming from the TXP. tongue.gif Or maybe I should invest in two more 4K monitors for surround gaming, although I absolutely hate bezels in between. hmm.gif

Yesterday's test-bench: i7 5960X, 16GB DDR4-2400 running XMP profile, 256GB NVME M2 (3 seconds boot time, so fast you cant even go into BIOS!), ROG RAMPAGE EDITION 10 motherboard, two Titan X Pascals in SLI with HB SLI Bridge Acer XB280HK 4K G-Sync 60Hz Monitor.

Told you bro when you ordered the Titans.  He he he it wont be that long I think before the that 4K 144 Hz comes out. Or will anyone comes out with 5,160 x 2160 ultrawide 4K.
*
the tearing is so much apparent now, after looking at frame times the TXP churns out. We also tried Doom yesterday (demo version) and TXP produces an almost VR-PERFECT 11-12ms frame times in 4K in Doom. Even the old Titan X and GTX1080 still can only get it to 24ms and 16ms respectively. The end result is that the tears occurs more regularly rather than the other GPUs because of their slower frame times. The position these tears occur on screen also shows that the TXP card pushes the image as soon as it is generated because of that shorter frame times, rather than the longer frametimes on TXM and GTX1080. It's readily apparent when looking at GTAV, the tears running on GTX 1080occurs on the bottom end of the image, while the TXP tears are smack dab in the middle.

TXP is like a wild panther than needs to be tamed. Either with G-Sync or frame-limiter or punishing it even further. It's like asking that panther to walk slower instead of running full sprint, Or asking the panter to walk in quicksand to limit its speed, or making the panther so damn tired that it cannot run as fast as it could.

And this runs STOCK! No overclocking on air whatsoever. I shudder to think what it can do under water. blink.gif

May I know the brand and the model of the 4K60 G-Sync monitor that you are using? Or is this the Ultra-wide monitor you have per your desk-setup.

Thanks.
