Well u can just call them yourself, if you don't believe me. I had a Xox number, but ported to celcom recently. I exactly followed the instructions on the website for user get user, but I got error message. Therefore I called 12273, so the staff said "user get user" is only available for Prepaid Plus XOX, not for one xox users.

I registered my number on the website directly, not through any dealers. So I don't know if there is any other way to do "user get user" through the dealers.
*
Ah yes, I get a clearer picture now. So now I agree with customer service 12273 that MGM is only available for XOX prepaid plus ..... bcoz Member-Get-Member was only intended for prepaid plus.

Think of MGM as a legacy option as it was built for prepaid plus not onexox. Yep, xox prepaid and onexox was on different back-end system (and still is or else old subs on prepaid plus would be screaming bloody murder as to why they're "upgraded" .....).

Please refer to this http://www.onexox.my/user-get-user.html
and also check the UGU tnc in XOX tnc http://xox.com.my/support/terms-and-conditions/

Even though XOX is now parent company of onexox, their back-end system does not seems to be properly integrated. So, from what I know, at the moment onexox UGU can only be registered through a dealer.

1.Register a xox sim card RM10
2. Topup RM30 to eligible for 3GB
3. At 28month validation + 3GB in the sim number

I dont udnerstand what do you mean by 36GB.
Besides , I read at xox there is no option to pay per use.if I wanted to use pay per use , lets say I this month seldom online , usage is just 200mb , just go online.

But if I remember, we need to subcribe for a package through xox either 500mb 1month or 1GB 1 month or weekly 250GB.
Is there any pay per use when I am free to use ? so it doesn't burn all the date wasted as you mention ehen you still have 300MB left at the last day of the month.
*
This is how the 28 months validity works for new starter packs:

IF topup RM10 within 24 hours THEN 28 months validity will be updated within 2 weeks

ELSE IF topup RM30 and purchase Super Season Pass 3GB within 10 days THEN you get immediate 28 months validity

ELSE IF topup RM50 accumulated within 30 days THEN 28 months validity will be updated within 2 weeks

ENDIF

So, essentially :

1. Yes, get yourself a onexox simpack at RM10.00
2. Topup RM30
3. Subscribe to Super Season Pass for RM30
4. Get 28 months validity updated immediately
5. Subscribe to 500MB/30days internet plan
6. Season Pass balance now remains at 2.5GB
7. Start using.

There is no pay-per-use data with onexox. Some people who uses very little data may find onexox unsuitable. Some with big data usage also find onexox unsuitable. Onexox is not a magic pill that solves every problem.

The cheapest pay-per-use at the moment is tunetalk at 2sen/MB. With your 200Mb monthly use, it would costs you RM4. if your current pay-per-use is at 5sen/MB then 200MB would already costs you RM10. Compare that to onexox season pass where the breakdown for 500MB only costs RM5 .....

There are two different data promo:

1. Topup RM30 each month and get 500mb free season pass data for the next 5 years for all subscribers. So, 500mb x 60 months = 30GB. (Automatically subscribed for all who topup RM30 in any month between 16 Feb - 15 May 2017)

2. OneMUSIC prepaid subscribers and XOX Membership Club subscribers will get additional 500MB for the first 12 months. So, (500mb x 12 months) + (500mb x 60 months) = 36GB. (For XMC must redeem voucher between 25 March - 31 May 2017)

So, think of onexox as a tool to help you solve a problem. If its a good tool then use it, if not then get something better.

Happy to be of some help ...

For the data promo, you will get the free 500mb data whenever you topup a total of RM30 in any month for the next 5 years. No need to topup every month.

A couple of years ago, I was also using (altel) pay-per-use for whatsapp. When I got digi iddic, I can just leave mobile data on and not worry about pay-per-use nemore. Now,with onexox, whatsapp is snappier then iddic 64kbps and Internet banking is much much better (and I still keep iddic as backup). I also found out the onexox actually uses 10KB data block apart from telco C/D/M/U. I now just leave mobile data always-on, incoming whatsapp gets updated instantly, whatsapp calls is no-problem, no need fb, overall improved browsing experience.

If you followed my old posts on onexox, I wasn't very keen on onexox before they added season pass and extended validity. Now, onexox is an option that help solves some mobile data issues for me and others around me.

I have complained about onexox website to the dealers many many times ....
The dealers said they can't do anythind as they themselves have complained to onexox management many times and still like that ......

If you want to buy onexox simpack online then as ycs already mentioned, go to http://onlinestore.xox.com.my/purchase.php

Better find a dealer near you as easier for you to deal and get assistance.

My current plan is Digi Best Prepaid V4.
Anyone can share what is the comparison for it to OneXox Prepaid?
In terms of call rate, sms, data..
*
Digi Best v4 ... officially the rates were :
calls : 6 sen first 10secs, 20 sen for next 2mins, 20 sen/min subsequently to all networks
sms : 8 sen to all networks
data : pay-per-use 50 sen/50KB (max RM8)
1 year validity at RM38

ONEXOX prepaid
calls : 5 sen under 10 secs
DA calls - (7 sen first 30 seconds + 8 sen next 30 seconds) = 1 block minute on-net, 9 sen / 30 secs off-net
DA sms - 5 sen on-net / 10 sen off-net

MA calls - 12 sen / secs all-net
MA sms - 10 sen on-net / 15 sen off-net

no data-pay-per-use. Must subscribe to data plan for internet access
1 year validity at RM25

However, my digi best v4 right now are being charged 30 sen/minute calls all-net and 12 sen/sms all-net. Not sure how come like that one (maybe because of iddic?).....

Thanks, so between DBP V4 and OneXox, which is cheaper for making impromptu calls (Not FnF and Mixed networks) and SMS, not considering data?

-And can 1XOX port out anytime if I purchase a Simpack from 1XOX?

From what you specified above,
DBP4 is about 20 sen / min calls, 8 cent SMS
1XOX is about 20 sen / min calls (18sen exact - outside network), 5 in network 10 sen out network SMS.
--What s MA and DA mean?
*
1. AFAIK, onexox does not have cooling off period. You can mnp out anytime.

2. In onexox, your credits wallet is divided into DA (Dedicated account for lower calls/sms rates) and MA (Main account for data subscription and other services).

3. If you're seeking for cost effective call rate then onexox with Super Season Pass voice minutes will give you 9 sen/minute (333minutes @ RM30). if you need more then you can buy more Season Pass during promo. These voice minutes does not expire and will last until your account terminated (upto 28 months validity or more).

4. Onexox also gives a total 1800 free sms (150x12months), so on-net sms doesn't cost you anything until you finish them off. The free sms also is carried forward every month until you finish them.

5. For data, Season Pass data is cost effective if you use little data monthly (500MB/1GB). For usage of 500MB, it translates to RM5 for 500MB 30 days use.

onexox is using celcom network, if you have decent celcom coverage then onexox could be what you're looking for.

*
which telco D plan ? my Bestv4 is also not following the original official rates nemore.

onexox is on celcom network. if you are within good celcom coverage then maybe you can give onexox a try.

today promo is rm30 for 5GB...isn't better?  smile.gif

I was told 10K+ vouchers was distributed among the 1K+ dealers at the dinner. Each received 10 pieces.

laugh.gif I asked very nicely and very politely from all the dealers I knew for a piece and got a few vouchers ... whistling.gif

Anyway, today's promo is a real damper .... someone at onexox hq probably thought coming out with 10GB@rm50 and then 5GB@rm30 is a good strategy .... doh.gif

For new numbers, RM10 minimum topup within 24hrs have to wait max 2 weeks. If topup RM30 andwithin 10 days buy super season pass/fat season pass then immediately. For mnps, it is immediately updated when port-in success.

So for MNP, will lose the RM5 free credit.
If I don't have any SP data subscription, will I be able to access the internet?
I am planning to MNP my number to XOX, it seems I am late to get the SP FAT10 now?
*
laugh.gif

1. You still get the rm5 credit lar ...

2. SP data is just a data storage wallet. You will take out from SP to subscribe to a weekly/monthly plan to use.

3. You still get to buy SP FAT10 within 10 days of successful mnp activation. What you have to do is topup rm50 and buy SP FAT10 yourself. Easy.

I understand many people believes that you'll have a bit more privacy and much faster and better to do it yourself with online mnp. I had the same thinking before.

After helping few relatives mnp to onexox with a dealer, I see that it is actually faster to mnp to onexox through a onexox dealer and the dealer can track the mnp process for you and re-submit the mnp process if you have any mnp rejection. The mnp process usually completes within 24 hours if there's no problem.

But when you said purchase standard data plan, then I have to pay more.
Why get season pass then instead of monthly plan?
Unfortunately XOX website does not contain all these information, it is very hard for new user to understand the concept.

Let say refer to this old example with the old season pass, RM50 for 5GB data.
I thought when you said use 500mb every months means I can start using straight away.
It seems that I have to purchase additional 500mb data plan monthly to use the season pass?
*
laugh.gif
Ya, new users often misunderstood how season pass works at first ... but once they grasp the concept they can see the beauty of it ...

Season Pass is like a data-quota bank. You purchase 10GB season pass data and keep in the data bank under your account/number. This month you just want to test-drive, so you use 1GB@rm3 daily subscription to try out. You checked your balance and found rm3 credit deducted. Ok fine, go do test-drive ..... So, you found it good enough and plan to start using it on the 1st of next month.

So, 1st of coming month, you get into the easy menu *150# and subscribe to 1GB@rm15 for 30 days use . Then you checked your balance and found your credit balance exactly the same amount before subscribing to the 1GB/30days plan. Then you noticed that your season pass balance is only 9GB left. Wham! now you understand how season pass works ....

Ya, that's what I was complaining to the onexox dealers at my place here.

Let's look at it from a onexox customer's point of view ..... Out-of-the-blue, on 26th of April, onexox offered a super season pass of 10GB@RM50 .... Many onexox customers were excited at the opportunity of lower monthly internet costs and/or the idea of being able to stretch that 50 malaysian ringgit over 20 months with 500MB monthly usage. The 3G/4G+ high-speed 500MB monthly data was the perfect plan for whatsapp users.

Suddenly a month later, the company changes the-rules-of-the-game by canceling the 500MB/30days plan and forces users to use 1GB/30days ..... The dealers told me that the costs of 1GB is only RM5 now ..... yeah that's right now it's Rm5 per 1GB .... but what about users like me who have plenty of gigabytes from many months before with the cost of RM10 per 1GB ? (well, my itchy fingers can't stop buying up all those happy hour season pass data).

My cost is not RM5 ... its still RM10 per 1GB until I finished them up ... even at 1GB monthy it'll take me many many many months to finish my season pass .... and that is without buying any more new season pass data.

Anyway, my point is, onexox was telling customers to buy 10GB@RM50 season pass because customers can keep and use it later. The dealers were saying, 500MB/monthly can use how long already? Many were thinking yeah, at 500MB/monthly this thing can last quite a long while. Now, we customers found out that we have to trashed that original plan.

What was it about going against capitalist telcos ? .... Isn't this already capitalizing on the customers ? What was it about helping prepaid customers save money ?

Ho-hum ....

Onexox is being sneaky now. They sold lotsa 5GB@rm50 season pass for the whole of march 2017... April 2017 want to capitalize and so sell another 5GB@rm50 bunch for another whole month. Now a lot of users have lotsa season pass and onexox wants users to finish off data pass quickly (or less revenue for onexox in coming months). Now we get so-called new revised data plans ......

I don't blame the dealers who are stuck in the middle as they're not responsible for this mess. I was told that onexox made millions from the March+April super season pass and also the super season pass 10GB@rm50 ......

I don't claim to represent majority of onexox users but I believe there are many who bought into onexox for the 500MB/30days data plan. Onexox is the one advocating "PENJIMATAN" and now they want customers to spend more ?

QUOTE(adiwarna @ May 25 2017, 01:52 PM)
it will be back

btw if u purchase season pass 5gb rm30, 1gb will cost rm6 which is cheaper than old 500mb rm18
*
Yes, that's what the dealers here told me too but only good for new subscribers .... So, what about the many gigabytes bought in March and April (5GB@RM50) by existing subscribers? ... you expect that to just burn-up-in-smoke ?

adiwarna, your telco company is putting you in a tight spot and you are not able to defend onexox who is on the border of taking their customers for granted. I understand onexox needs to be dynamic, respond to market demands and make necessary changes but can they do it without annoying their customers?

Today onexox updated the standard season pass to rm5 per 1GB packages (ex: 20GB@RM100) .... So, can we expect that future Happy Hour season pass and the occasional promo season pass will be even cheaper than that ? .... If that's the case, why should we buy the standard pass? so that means customers don't have to stock up on season pass right? just wait for cheaper happy hour season pass right? that is what onexox is indirectly telling us customers .....
