This 2 timeline theory is pretty much confirmed I guess. William and Dolores is obviously in the past and becomes MiB in the future. Although some ppl are guessing it's Logan that is Mib.

Damn Maeve is scary, and more revelations about Arnold. What actually happened between him and Ford?

In episode 8, it is hinted that Dolores is currently having delusion that she is with Williams, while actually she is only remembering the events happened in the past while she was with Williams. She cannot differentiate reality and memory because all hosts have perfect memory.

In her memory, Williams was slowly changing to a much colder person, which fits the theory that MiB is actually Williams and MiB had claimed that he was born in the Westworld. MiB was probably causing Dolores to remember back in episode 1 while he dragged Dolores into the barn and had done something to her offscreen.

aduh... so slow this story..

i'm trying hard to follow through. i can't seems to finish even episode 2...urgh..

Just started watching this after someone posted this a mindfucked TV episode in /k. But so far kinda boring a bit especially when watching this half asleep (need to watch this midnight when family sleep)

Things are repetitive for 4-5 episodes, but that is a setup for later. If you pay attention to the slightest clues in the repetitions, you'll start enjoying it from episode 6 or so.

Episode 9
This is just like GoT, episode 9 is always the season climax and leaves you jaw dropping

Almost all of the fan theories were right

I made the mistake of watching this 2 episodes at a time to catch up...

I'll go one ep at a time from now on.

Looking forward to ep9, but I'm at ep5 now.

wow, that is how you handle twist well, even though people had been predicting it, but the way they reveal it is top notch, bring on the finale next week!

Yep, even tho every theory so far by reddit is right, the execution of the reveal and acting is top notch.

After watching those big reveal....ughhh!! can't help it the show felt a lot like that empty safe which Hector tries so hard to rob. Bernard and Dolores twist simply did not push the plot forward because their resolution still not forthcoming with what I'm suppose to latch on. Unless the finale able to come up with a killer resolution and a cliffhanger that move things forward without retreading the same story beats.

Given the production quality and world building is very good but not clear cut in what it hopes to tell. Maybe all those delaying and script rewrites impacted the original intention or just it is what it is. Hope the 2nd season able to get the pacing right with a clearer story hook since it won't air until 2018.

The essence of the story now is clear, Arnold wanted to create consciousness, which was on the opposite end of what Ford wanted.

No...why bring back Arnold as Bernald like a tool at his disposal???
Also do bear in mind that the first android killed Arnold which kinda suggest Dolores is not what she seems to be. A failed insight or a manipulation scheme?
How many episodes were spent on the importance of establishing a new narrative that may or may not be the crux of the series?
At the end of it all...just raised more questions than answers and not a simple Ford vs the world.
I just need a clearer direction on what the endgame is about right now, it can just go to many directions.
Furthermore they are looking at 5 seasons, so the endgame will not be a simple task of taking down a puppetmaster.
If you really want to condense what has happened, do you need 9 episodes to stretch things out?
It came close to the languid pacing like The Walking Dead, only the first and the last two episodes that matters in a season.
Well that just me.

It has nothing to do with building momentum or storyline execution. It's what is that damn dangling carrot to chase after. If they want to do a batshit crazy David Lynch or challenging David Chronenberg, I'm game for it. Just don't pull off a Damon Lindelof playbook.
