No, unless you have a perpetual calendar or a moonphase, it's pretty much pointless to have a winder.

It takes no more than a couple of minutes to set the time.

I think in general the lubricants for watches have advance to a state where I don't think it will become harden mess when it's left alone for a long period of time.

I think the one in Midvalley and Pyramid still have... KLCC one also (if the store is still there), though I usually just buy NATOs online so never really checked them out.

You can find a good few Seiko's at 3k or below range that might strike you lucky. Surprisingly, none of my SARBs or my SKX has lost value, and if you have picked up SARG not too long ago, you would see it has tripled in price.

But if you want the USD200 watch that sells for 14mil, that one slowly wait la.

Yea, SKX was a tempting recommendation but he mentioned classy and working, so SKX was a bit more on the rough and tumble side.

Better? That's relative, at RM1k, you are likely to find similar movements around and difference are likely the styling and brands.

Around that price, if you are willing to go down the micro brand list, you can find:

You can also go into reputable China brands like Sea-Gull of BWF and see what they offer.

At 4k I can only think of FC, Ball or Oris. Maybe Tag as well?

I'd think Sinn should have some around that mark as well, which would be my option.

Eh wait, Sinn is out anyway as its nor swiss or have "punch" to the general public.

Next closest is probably Omega? Either the speedy reduced or AT quartz. But I honestly won't recommend either, as much as I do like my AT quartz.

Sinn 104's are around 6k with 25% right? I remember it being really tempting, but they didn't have the white so I walked away from that deal. That should place it around the 4k level.

Maybe the 556 and U1's? I don't hang out in MV anymore so kinda lost touch with the pricing. Whether you consider it a proper Sinn is a different question la...

I'm still not sure what he means by punch. Brand? Looks?
