can anyone post their 3Dmark score for 03 05 and 06?
i've just got my galaxy 7300GT 128MB few days back, i wanna see how much my old school celeron proc is bottlenecking the GC performance

can only play NFS: MW at middle-high setting, thought can max-out all settings with the GC

by the way, i'm planning to replace the stock galaxy hsf with coolermaster coolviva cuz i'm a noise intolerant do anyone know whether the coolviva performs better/lousier than the stock galaxy hsf?

oh yeah, pls guide me on which driver to use also... the CD came with a lot of drivers and it didnt mention which one to use, so i just simply pick one....

i tried 3dmark05 just now. the result is disappointing...




i didnt expect the bottlenecking problem to be soooooo serious

that is way too low dude...anyway, if you're really concern bout your 3DMark's score, then you have to disable all background software - it might help ok, Firewall/Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware/Anti-Malware/any desktop tools/customization (WB/DesktopX...), and the main problem is, your CPU is bottleneck-ing your 3DMark's score...i've got mine at 5.5k on 3DMark05 though

check the Guru3d forums, and you'll see that I took a 7300GT DDR3 256MB and a P4 to score about 6424 in 3dmark05.

*Sigh* still no SLi support for Vista

i feel like it's a really bad investment
erm... i think disabling background is just cheating myself... cuz i'm gonna turn them on while playing games, no point just to score higher and show off ah well... it's impossible to score an impressive marks anyway

does driver version matters?
the driver CD got tons of driver and i just simply installed one. i remember it's 9X.XX version of nvidia forceware...

synthetic benchmarking performance and in-game performance are two different things, just because you score low in a benchmark like 3dmark05 doesn't mean that you won't perform well in games.

from your pc specs (your siggy) yeah...your system kinda super-low-end, even run on capalang PSU with 250GB with 512MB of RAM, i think that's not enough

yeah, newer latest driver doesnt mean will work well in certain system or OS

i'm gonna fork out more money, and buy a Pentium D + new mobo + PSU. should be around RM700~800.


in the end, a simple plan to upgrade HDD in order to store more porns has turn out to be a major makeover

If you get Pentium D, you will end up to buy after market HS to cool it down, and that will cost you somemore money...

this might be an off-topic reply, but u might want to know that pentium d is freaking hot..better go for p4 or am2 x2..

Kataro, u using Palit 7600GS, rite? Can u tell me what is the temperature for ur card? Mine running at 53C at idle, load >60....

Ya, Palit 7600GS Sonic 256MB. My idle temp is only 44C (lowest)-46C, load temp only 55C-57C. Even when I OC it to 520MHz/1500MHz, temp idle and load temp also only up 2-5C only depend on weather...

your idle very high wor... maybe your casing air flow problem...btw, I am using the stock palit cooler...

Airflow problem? Not so sure, i dun think it is as i quite sure my case air flow is quite good, or mayb suppose the card should be at that temp?......

my Galaxy 7900GS at performance speed is only at 55 'C max, idle is 48- 50

mine 7300GT with galaxy fan, idle ~48-51'C and after 5 minutes play game ~52-55'C

Dun make him confuse with ur oc score.
