Puchong. I think you got to be patient. Maybe maxis implement stage by stage. I don't get letter too. But I don't no why I have this double speed.

Since it good, I keep it silence and don't bother to tell maxis.

Added on October 26, 2009, 9:30 amOne more thing I know is, they need to consider the stability after upgrade the speed. Cannot simply upgrade.

I have this experience with streamyx for my office. The tech guys offer to upgrade the speed from 1mb to 1.5mb. But running not stable. After few days call back the guy. Come and check. Said my office line is old and not stable for higher speed. So downgrade back to 1mb.

Why you take out the wire from the splitter? Aren't the splitter come complete and just plug in only?

Try direcy plug without the splitter. Or you got another wall phone plug. Try that one.

Why your 512 so expensive leh? My 512 cost RM68.

Your speed sound like 2Mbps. Damn shiok.

But my new faultry belkin modem router give me problem. DC frequently. Going to take back and claim.

Claim another new 1. The belkin service side test it, and said got some problem with the unit.

The new 1 is flush with a new firmware. Will test it with max speed. See any problem or not.

If con also, just take the offer. As long as it don't con your money. What a waste.

This evening maxis call and offer to upgrade my MBB from 512k package to 1mb package with same price. But my mbb already running at 1mb speed few yrs liao. So I not sure what speed would they give me? Maybe 2mb speed kua?

And another offer to me is wireless 3.6mb free trial for 1month with wireless modem. No extra charge whatever. I just straight take the offer. Will come to my house this saturday. Will download kao kao for 1month than send it back to them. Ha.....

So at the mean while, get few pc, run 24hr. Download whatever you can. Don't waste a single bit of band.

Yes it can go till 2mbps if you take 2mb package. If you take 1mb, the capping is 1mb or 1024kbps lah.

But I take 512k and cap my speed at 2048kbps. ha... It is a rare case. not apply to everybody.

I just now try maxis wireless. The signal not strong enough to stable to go in website. Keep on DC.
