Normally i compare ERlite and ER X; ERlite and USG have same price range if i not mistaken.

The main difference is that, with offload enabled, the ERL can route 1 Gbps upload and download simultaneously, while the ERX can route a total of 1Gbps (e.g., 1 Gbps download, 500 Mbps downlaod and upload, etc). Also the ERX has a built in switch and the ERL doesn't.

The ERL is an older platform for which the ER4 is the replacement. But it's still a solid router with millions of installed units. If you need simultaneous gigabit, get the ERL or ER 4. If you want a built in switch, get the ERX.

it is... but more than enuf for home network erl is overkill sometimes. im curious if someone did try tm unifi running through wifi

did you check on youtube how they setup it? maybe some of the step you missed? never had amplify unit.. so not sure too... watch on youtube only

TM UniFi right? it has a vlan tagging.... its PPPoE on Vlan tagging.

i think better for you just reset it. since its managed by others unless you know ssh username and password, then it will easier. but since latest controller, username and password for ssh is different from unifi controller username and password

if it is not possible to reach it. yeah, you can use it to reset.

UniFi SDN and UniFi Protect (NVR)- so far only can max up to 5Tb storage only... if put 8gb storage, it ignores the remaining 3tb if i not mistaken.

It can be rack mounted. and HDD can be swap out. This Gen2+ have build in battery for secure shutdown, give about 7sec before it shutdown. other than that... nothing much..
