Yes, I believe you can find these from the news posted in FB. It was due to the overflowed from the river. It affected the entire main road.

Eh not really, my grandma's house is right there near the KTM station (but the other side). We're always affected when it's flash flood (Sudden really heavy rain). Previously it was worse and got flood every time it rained. Now sometimes only . Also segambut is safe from the last Dec flood, since I think the river is good enough for long duration rain, just need to improve on the resistance of flash flood. Also the images is nowhere near the Era, the bridge is Jalan Kuching. It's near Riana, even their showroom kena in one of the images. (the one that got myvi)

You mean it won't affects us when we enter into The Era from Duke or Jalan Kuching?

Hit the banjir no. Affected by the jam because it happened further front, maybe. Even Jalan Kuching itself may banjir in flash flood. Near bukit tunku/ktm tracks area there.

The thing about flash flood around this area is it recedes fairly quickly. Like in 1 or 2 hours, it'll start flowing back to the river.

With more development upstream, flash flood will occur more frequently. Previously, jalan Kuching rarely flooded.

That's mean the location it self is in risk of flooding? I heard that The manufacturer is going to demolish and rebuild high rise buildings, besides that, MRT 3 also coming up nearby.

I'm wondering if the floods will affect the structures, especially landslides such as Serdang Aeon,as all the soil flows away by the floods.

It make commercial sense to convert industrial land in the city to high rise.

once the segambut mrt is up, im sure proper ground layout will ensure flooding wont happen. as it is even back in december flooding, the era did not suffer any floods at all.

When you mentioned about MRT, it remind me about Puchong IOI and EkoCheras. Upon MRT up, it always hit by flash floods.

What about the traffic? When we enter into Jalan Segambut, will we suffer from the flooded road ?

when KL flooded, traffic condition on the roads are the same anywhere.

Yeah, Era site was safe from flooded.

If era is flooded on dry days would need canoe to access.
