My HL Fortune and HL Airasia share the credit limit. I can do FPP for the HL Airasia card right now and it will turn into a credit balance. Can I apply to transfer this credit balance over to my HLB Fortune card? Has any one done this?

Oops rechecked again. No there won't be a credit balance. Ignore my question

This is asking about credit limit for Hong Leong cards:
Any body happens to know how Hong Leong determines credit limit?
I applied temporary credit limit increase through HLB connect for 3 months and it's coming to expiry next week. The additional increase that I can apply for is 60% more of the current limit.
Question, if I go for a permanent increase, will it also be the same amount or it will be lower?

I checked my HLB AirAsia card just now. Strangely, the zero % 12 months is no longer there, I only have the 7.1% 36 months Relief Conversion Plan. I got onto live chat and the lady said the promotion is now over. I told her that the 12 month zero% plan is a card feature. Her answer was no it is not a card feature.
HLB has withdrawn this feature ?
Anyone knows?

is ur amount that applied for FPP is billed amount? I notice that previously the option is only available if it is unbilled amount... my unbilled amount is less than RM500, i can't help to verify as currently it is only 7.1% relief plan available...

Based on HLB website, it is a card feature for 0% 12 months

https://www.hlb.com.my/en/personal-banking/...redit-card.html

Yes it's billed amount. But I thought as long as it's not past due date, you can apply for FPP for the billed amount. It was like that previously

I have done a second chat and the lady also said the promotion is not available. But I gave her the HLB Airasia card link which still states zero% 12 months as a card feature. So she will refer my case to another team.

There are 2 buttons there, balance due and relief conversion plan? You mean after you select  balance due still not showing 0% fpp?
*
See the images here.
The first image shows RM4,015 as Flexi payment plan eligible amount. After clicking "Apply here", I was brought into the second image. It shows the 36 months plan with 7.1%. That's the only plan available.

Hope that this is a technical issue and not that I have been barred from flexi plan. Maybe there's a limit of how many times you can apply.Attached Image Attached Image

yup, once they stop the 6x points for AA flight, i immediate stop utilise the quarterly bonus RM5k for 5k points
totally pointless for me to do this and going to cancel on digital day soon
*
Yes the Big points will not be of much use for a while especially when so many of us have got money stuck in AA credit account.
There's still the 12 month zero% FPP feature though

It's the zero% Flexi Payment Plan I'm interested in!
But no details are available yet. There's a one time upfront fee I wonder what rate it will be. Maybe they haven't decided yet. Can be zero fee as well ?

It's not real 0%.

The TnC is out. There is one time upfront fee.

The fee is RM25 for 6 month installment OR RM50 for 12 month installment
*
So it won't be zero fee but a fixed fee of RM25 or RM50.
That would mean:
If FPP RM5,000, 6 months is 0.5% fee and 12 months 1%
If FPP RM10,000, 6 months is 0.25% fee and 12 months 0.5%
If FPP RM15,000, 6 months is 0.16% fee and 12 months is 0.33%
So the higher the FPP amount, the lower it is in terms of the upfront fee%.

Hi guys, couldnt find a thread on airasia hong leong credit card. Anyone managed to get the bank to waive the annual fee?

A number of card holders have asked this question since Dec last year but no positive outcome reported yet. I'd also like to know, have another 5 months to go.

anyone took the 12 months Digital Day 0% Flexi Payment Plan promo? RM25 for 6 months, RM50 for 12 months.

I have outstanding of RM20,000 from rolling of of CC funds. taking the max tenure of 12 months, means i am only paying "fee" of 0.25% - RM50/RM20,000 and in return, investing this money in SCB/OCBC high yield account could get me 2.50 - 2.85% return.

Is my calculation correct?
*
Yes. And think in terms of Ringgit value - RM20,000 X 2.5%=RM500, compared to RM50 fee.

The closest is e-wallet, but BP is strictly not quite an e-wallet. Do as what someone has suggested - pay electricity, phone etc

Interest earned via CASA should be reducing cos need to pay off the monthly repayment but still worth it esp PSA. UNLESS OPR reduce to 0 as someone suggested.
How r u going to charge 20k to your card for this purpose since it is not BT?
*
Oh you are right MGM, I forgot about the monthly repayment. I reworked the calculation, it will be like RM270 interest earned vs RM50 fee. Still worth it, eases the cash flow.
What Cucikaki's thinking of doing is take up an FPP under HongLeong's current offer, and keep the money (originally for paying the o/s card account) elsewhere to earn interest.
That's what I'm going to do, just waiting for the eligible amount to go above the minimum of RM5,000.

It's definitely not the FPP fee which is either RM25 or RM50.
Do you actually get charged for this amount or is it just a notification of an "interest clawback" thing?

I have 3 cards which got charged annual fee and SST.

1. Air Asia Platinum
2. Essential
3. GSC Platinum

They waived annual fee and SST for my essential and GSC Platinum. Air Asia Platinum no waiver so I cancelled it.
*
No waiver of anything for AA card at all? Did you use the card actively?

Hi folks, just to share an experience of mine with HLB fortune.
I bought something from lazada, and returned the goods, got the full refund from the vendor within a statement month. So I paid the remaining amount of my credit card balance on time, but I was charged 15% interest of that refunded amount because HLB does not consider the refunded amount as a payment. (CR RM 2500)

Maybe this is a known fact but to me this is bullshxt. I have called the Cs but I was told I can only waive it once I make the full payment for July statement which is alright. But this is stupid.
*
If the refund is in the same statement cycle, then yes your balance due will be a net figure. But if the refund is posted in the next statement cycle, you will still need to pay the full current statement amount. They won't allow you to contra the refund against the current month, even though you can see it in the transaction listing.
