Using 14 digit old account, need to precaution and check the bill whether is updated properly in TNB e-portal website after 3 or 4 working days of payment.

There is several case errors occurred in the TNB system and cannot trace the payment during this month of July and Aug 2016.

tried to add the new 12 digit acc at payonline and accepted... so the issue you all mentioned here is payment cannot get through is it?

i will try to pay later using the new 12 digit account number.... but for now, sucessfully added la....

so far, adding 12 digit account in uobpayonline does not encounter any problem.

only is when proceed to make payment with 12 digit account no. ,will encounter message of "invalid account no. " and cannot proceed further. Tried at 27 July also same. Have send email to uob, yet no reply until today.

Yeah and stop calling the customer service. They are not helpful at all. They will ask u to call TNB to verify your account # whereas the issue is at their system. No problem if to pay with mytnb/maybank2u/pbe payonline.

No, you wouldn't get any rebate if you swipe your card at counter instead of pump payment terminal.

previously myTNB Mobile App already not eligible.

since the new myTNB Web Portal seems to be using same payment gateway, so you're the first (i think) confirming this payment channel not tagged as UTILITIES category.

btw, you chose UTILITIES category for your Wise card, right?

unlikely, because Wise card depends on the exact MCC registered to the cc terminal.

petrol kiosk has different MCC than service station/counter; and Wise only detects petrol kiosk MCC. read the T&Cs.

TM bills (streamyx/unifi) are not in any of the Wise categories. and no, not UTILITIES also.

there's a workaround IF...

1) you're nearby/accessible to Sam's Groceria outlets.
2) one of your categories is GROCERY

if both conditions are YES, then pay your tm bills there. the payments will be categorized as GROCERY (due to Sam's Groceria registered MCC).

Because your amount is less than rm50. Need minimum of rm50 per transaction to eligible.
