Hey guys, just wanna to ask yours opinion regarding safety theft by using passive keyless entry by the new Persona is it reliable? I meant at the other country also discussing the matter. The key could still be unlock by using the amplifier to widen the wave, and the car could be start by using push button and even drive anywhere the person want if the car engine does not been shut. Any thoughts ?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AHSDy6AiV0

I took my car on last Saturday and the airbags light in on...😔

It could happen for two reasons

1. The car's body control module(BCM) has a software glitch in the code which causes the light to come on even though nothing is wrong. I've seen some cars check engine lights come on but the car still runs fine so I assume it's the same root cause.

2. One of the airbag sensors might be faulty, most likely the passenger side.

Either way, you should mention this to the SC once you go for the 1000km service just to be safe.

My premium with bodykit came with Silverstone Kruizer NS800. Read somewhere on this thread that only the first 200 premium 's' models offered with Goodyear tyres.

so actually now what engine oil did proton use? I'm entitle for the free service for 3 years or 7 times, I call centre and they told me Semi-Syn will be use only.. can last for 10k. @.@
*
If you're on the free service plan, the engine oil included in the package should be the Syntium 800SE (Semi-synthetic). It should be good for 10K.
Speak with the SA at the service centre if you want to upgrade to fully synthetic oil (if the SC allows it). At most, you'd only need to top-up the price difference between the 2 types of oils.

Nah, I push mine 140+ everytime. Those little windnoise won't effect me much as if you hear the windnoise at 130KM+ you just become really don't care anymore biggrin.gif

The Syntium SE Series is said to be "Tuned for Proton" and it is good for 10k km for all range
SOS

Meanwhile I'm still wasn't sure if free service will get the SE series or the older one at 10w 40 which is thicker... my last service they gave me the old one because the SE version wasn't launched yet hmm.gif

The wind noise is only noticeable from the driver's window. I suspect its due to rubber seal.

Hi Guys.

Can anyone recommend me any tyres that are good for comfort driving since the stock one (Silverstone) is quite noisy. Thanks! smile.gif

Today did a test drive in Glenmaire.. I was having high expectation especially the body build quality really did impress me.. the door feels more solid than the BRV... But it turn down me because of the steering feels so light, is like driving a toy and the CVT really 1 second delay... may i know is this normal? or just the test car problem especially the light steering..??

May refer here
http://www.fuelly.com/car/proton/new_persona/2016

For me, my FC Range from 12.8km/l to best at 16.4km/l

Usually around 14km/l

Mine is Manual Transmission

Not the best FC in its class, but not too bad either

Comparing to my Myvi MT 1.3 its about 10% more fuel consuming
