I used to corner 100~110 at this one, but it was raining and also the road is quite slippery I guess. If it was normal day, can take the corner smoothly. Clinched my butt quite hard on this one though.
will try! thanks!

How the ESC is activated? Did you turn the steering much more to the right when you realise it's understeer? Did you step on brake before it's activated? Thanks

I didn't ask for courtesy car. I don't know whether they provide or not tho, maybe you can give them a call and ask before you go
*
I would definitely leave the car there for a week if they have courtesy car.. but in most of the case, their courtesy car is taken by someone else since they don't have much... unless your car in special condition where you have no choice but to leave it there for weeks, you may argue with them for one, they'll take 1 from test drive unit

Torn between the 2016 Persona and Iriz. Wanna get it for my folks (100% town) and I would use it to travel to work (90% highway 10% jam). What are the pros and cons between these two hot babes? From what I read is that the pros are its really good in the NVH, handling & ride department, fun to drive and its hot. While the cons are the usual rattling sound from dashboard, fuel smell after fueling up (Iriz, not sure Persona has it or not), HU sotplak etc.

I understand that usually people would wait for the cars to be 'matured' in the market and it will be more refined. As I am not desperately in need of getting the new car, what would all the sifus here advise?

I shall post this same question in the Iriz thread for feedback from the owners there too.

Thanks a lot.

The color code for graphite grey is a209, bought the ezytouch up paint cause i also kena a few scratches ady even I used turtlewax hard shell wax. Sigh..in klang valley hard to prevent unless u left your car at your home most of the time. Prevent to park beside mpv with no slighting door like alza, avanza. When the children get out from the car they will push the door fully open and jump down. Last time happens in front of me and the mother pretend like nothing happen.
Without armrest very tired lah if traffic jam or drive long distance. Sometime tired I just put my hand on the gearknob or handbrake, sometime use left hand hold steering and rest right arm at the door panel.

Last time I also kena. No apologize also. Then I park my car elsewhere and went back to use the magic of 50cent

To me, main differences is Boot Vs no Boot. In my opinion you should consider if you really need a boot or not. With current discounts for Iriz, the Iriz is really attractive compared to Persona.

The other plus point between persona and Iriz is
-NVH
-1.6L engine
-More responsive CVT

From look Iriz is far more suitable for youth, while persona basically fit with any age. Saw an old couple drive an iriz, well atleast the look younger xD.

I think the only reason to buy iriz are those who want the 1.6mt premium variant. U use or not the boot also the car looks nicer lah with boot. Summore the iriz 1.6 not cheap lah, if 1.3 I rather buy bezza now got 3k rebate. Jimat minyak and no need to change timing belt after 80,000km.

sat in the back seat of both iriz and persona, iriz felt really cramped. basically zero legroom for the back passenger if you are a tall driver/ have a tall rear passenger. persona doesn't have this problem though.

I think i might have hit the jackpot when it comes to HU...hmm..lemon unit..

- all radio channels .autodetection failed. It skipped everything.
- play mp3 songs from sd card it will pause a bit halfway in every other song.
- totally cant read usb disk content even though upon plugging in the screen changes from 'no usb detected' to blank, no message at all and no files listed.

I'm a 6 footer and my folks are rather tall as well
but I saw the review video by p×××tan on the Iriz, that dude is also a 6 footer and he claims that it's not too bad even though the front seat is adjusted to his driving position.
Persona looks nice too haha. dilemma really. trunk space or not doesn't really matter. go airport use Uber, cuti2 Msia don't need much luggage. well unless of course we pick relatives from the airport then different story d

I'm not sifu, here are my views.
Fuel smell - no smell in cabin
HU lagging - only experienced once
Dashboard ratting - solved
Air cond - perfect
Low speed jerk - occur at bump-to-bump traffic condition, but after some time you will adapt your driving style to the CVT so the jerk will occur lesser. I would say this issue can be avoided based on how you drive.
The only problem of my car now is the radio volume fluctuates. Going to solve this before January. Will post here if it's solved.
I'm using Spotify extreme quality in the HU, the sound quality is very good considering it's stock speakers.

Did you go for a test drive? If not, you shall and compare both cars.

yet to test drive neither
I guess from what I've read thus far, both car seems to be really good and just gotta adjust driving behaviour to the CVT only eh?
manage to side load Waze and use teetering?will it void the warranty?
