Q1) Any of you able to get extra rebate (maybe 1k or 2k?)
Q2) What are the freebies ? (umbrellas etc?)
Q3) Did salesmen offered/mentioned about extended warranty period (to 5yrs) by adding in extra $$ ?

correct me if I'm wrong: This months offer, is 3 years parts and labour warranty right? As for the extra 2 years is normal for all Protons but labour only?

If you don't carry passengers often.. then the slightly smaller cabin size is not an issue.

Yea. year discount are to clear warehouse of leftover stocks.. and since new Persona's demand caused bottleneck in production line... , there is no need to offer any good discount in near future. Still depends on variant too I guess . Non Premium might have better chances .

1) You failed maths LOL. Its just 2 months since booking started (mid Aug) . The 5000 delivered info was made known like.. last week. So its 5000 delivered in a bit over 2 months .


2) you cherry picks the issue and focus on -ve. The reason why delivery slow is because of greater demands for Premium variant which is unforeseeable. Customer can opt for lower variant and see their cars delivered in 2-3 weeks maybe.


I'm sure you will be jumping for joy if the demand is not good so you can fabricate more assumptions from thin air to criticize . LOL.

I think Proton Extra is the special vouchers that can be applied to all Proton cars.

Don't forget, Proton didn't just produce new Personas but other cars as well. There might be a few thousands Exoras,Preves and a handful of Suprimas need to churn out from their assembly line each month too.

Thats what I heard too. this is sad considering it is Proton's fault for not delivering in time. The only consolation from all this is that your car registered 2017 means depreciates slower than this year.

The sensitivity of the HU keyboard really sucks. its hard to really type properly.

My HU can detect my USB flash drive BUT no files were shown on screen. hmmm....

I think i might have hit the jackpot when it comes to HU...hmm..lemon unit..

- all radio channels .autodetection failed. It skipped everything.
- play mp3 songs from sd card it will pause a bit halfway in every other song.
- totally cant read usb disk content even though upon plugging in the screen changes from 'no usb detected' to blank, no message at all and no files listed.

My first fuelup also yielded poor result... 6 bars gone only managed 310km. But 2nd time around things have gotten better by 10% at least.

Had my first 1000km service done and describe my HU problem to them

- USB can't detect
- mp3 songs stutter sometimes
- radio poor reception

When I go pick up my car, all they said what they've done was reset the HU and ask me to try again if got problem again needs refer to vendor.

Gosh.. nothing was fixed. They didn't even test it on my behalf after performing the so called "reset". And I cant stay long to followup on this since I sneaked out during office hours to get my car.

I guess I gotta waste time make 2nd trip to SC again sometime this month. All 5 hours the car stayed in SC and its just the minor service they did. sigh.
