if your company provides stable connection with low latency and the same price as TM without all the crap caps, you're gonna need to ensure that your system can handle the load cause lots of people will sign up for it (that includes me too) wink.gif

Even if it's a little higher than TM, I'm willing to pay if you can guarantee a consistant performance. thumbup.gif

No news yet. STill configuring and a lot of tests...

Currently our office are migrating all the hardware to gigabit connection ( LAN )

I'll update here ASAP. I just need more time to test and compare the result. I have to make sure I can deliver what I can promise...500ms morning, afternoon, dawn and night.........

Added on January 30, 2007, 8:05 pmThaurissan & Nagrand suddenly very laggy. I don't know why.

Well, just to let you know, despite the low amount of replies onto this topic, there are a lot of views and users speculating this thread.

Seriously if the connection is constant and smooth , i will anytime change to ur isp rather den stick with tmnet. check out other isp as well , jaring is not cover my USJ 4 area , sad ... maxis still using their old backbone which is not recommended to change, but damansara is heaven for maxis, torrents download easily reach 500-600kbs during the nite when they release all the ports, during the day, the will control home user and gave piriority to the cooperate user but home user dont feel the lag dats all.

Ok here's how you can help me.

1. Only open World of Warcraft.
2. ALT + TAB to windows
3. Goe to Command Prompt
4. Type netstat -a
5. Look for connection UDP 3724
6. Copy the url.
7. Paste it here

For example, today I test at Nagrand, and Nagrand ip adress is :

TCP azril:1034 NASARL:netbios-ssn ESTABLISHED
TCP azril:1049 12.129.232.114:3724 TIME_WAIT
TCP azril:1050 12-129-225-43.attens.net:3724 ESTABLISHED

Nagrand : 12-129-225-43.attens.net

Then I can test traceroute, hops, ping for every realms smile.gif

Added on January 31, 2007, 9:44 amNagrand and Thaurissan both from attens.net and I cannot resolve the subdomain IP..........

Just to make sure that I'm not putting too much hope here. Your line would be independent from TM or Maxis entirely right? Not subcontracted in anyway?

If you can do that at 500ms all the time, you can bet that I'll fully support you. Last time TMNet can give us that in IF even <400ms. But than it doesn't last long.

We are not using TMNET backbone, that's for sure.

I wonder why it is so secretive for your company, Azril. If a new technology is coming by, it should be announce, or maybe it is because they might scrap it? just like wimax...

Don't take it wrongly, no offense at all. I am looking forward to this espeically those ISP that look into games, and ofcourse metrophon.

I think this is common strategy practice. They are still at their research phase, which means not even 100% sure that they will release that product. Secondly, if they announce it now, who knows what big companies like TM will do to sabotage? Or even be one step ahead? It's just like when we "attempt" to raid IF, we don't assemble outside IF, we get the raid ready THEN we travel to IF. Just to gain that competitive edge.
