The A119S upgrade to Sony IMX291 sensor, the day and night video quality will be better than A119.

And A119S use the 6G F1.8, 135° FOV Rotatable Lens, with less distortion than A119 6G F1.8, 160° FOV Rotatable Lens

Actually, with Sony IMX291 sensor, the night video will be better as Sony sensor is famous for best low light video. Daytime maybe slightly better. But no more 1440p 30fps but now with 1080p 60fps.

A119S is more expensive than A119 by about USD10+ or more...

Anyway, Viofo has informed that it's releasing next week or so together with A118C2... But very limited quantity... Hope can get a test sample when it's out and see how good is it compared to A119...

They sharing same gps logger for a119 and a119s. Just for those that wish to upgrade.

Plugged in my dashcam while installing it onto my windscreen. After installation was done, roughly 30 mins after being plugged in, I noticed the USB charger was hot to the touch!!

I have been using Mi-Charger all the while and it didn't heat up so easily. Can I use the Mi-Charger instead of the USB charger which was provided? Bought the dashcam from you dFaro!! I demand an explanation since you're in this thread.. kekeke

Another thing I've noticed after installing the GPS mount, I can't readjust the position anymore! The adhesive pad is strongly stuck to the windscreen. Any ideas what to do? Wish to do minor repositioning

It just need an usb port for power , any usb port will do . I am using Roidmi 2 and it works fine . And yes the 3M adhesive tape that comes with it is very strong , check out this video on how to remove them safely .
