No need to review but you need to understand their main function

Scuff plates (MYR 140 Peninsular, MYR 145 West Malaysia; can be bought as individual set items) are to protect your car from marks left by passengers over the flanges of the car's body side panels.
Side door protectors (MYR 350 Peninsular, MYR 360 West Malaysia; can be bought as individual set items) are to protect your car door skin from dings, paint chips and dents when parking on the street, outdoor parking lots or indoor parking garages.

If you really worry about such marks or has OCD issue, then you should buy them...

For me, the most useful set items are the door visors (MYR 150 Peninsular, MYR 155 West Malaysia; can be bought as individual set items) since I will open a little bit the door window glass to allow air come through when I sleep in the car. It is not safe to sleep in the car while the engine is still on for the air-cond to run since the carbon monoxide can build up in the short time. But, I usually turn off the engine. If there is rain, the visors will block the rain drops from going into the car.

im quite worry of the eco idle. Just a short journey less than a km, the engine start n stop i think more than 5 times. eg:
1) stop at the guard house to tag the card. engine stop
2) after the guard house stop at the junction. engine stop
3) about 500m stop at traffic light. engine stop
4) about 200m stop another traffic light. engine stop.
5) ...
6) ...
foresee will have a lot of problem in future due to wear n tear...
*
Ya me too. Short distance engine stop near 10 times. Is the car build to handle this frequent stopping or better to turn ico ideal off???

I was thinking about the door visors, but I don't usually use them, meaning leave the window a little open or something like that...

Any other use other than to sleep in the car... just thinking...

because usually they also add a noise to the car...

Well I do understand those items purpose (thanks for the explanation).. Scuff plates would protect also from scratch too..my exist car have scratches there... =(...
As for the side door protectors, my current car is have a lot of scratch due ppl open their car door and hit my car (do note my parking have enough room for both side.) I do notice most ppl tend to get the Door visors and luggage tray based on the replies in this forum..

I was informed that those items is cheaper if getting from outside (all the 4 items, not sure is true or not)....if is true then it makes me wonder is it worth to pay the extra.. Hence I am asking the review. =)

Additional : I heard that the tinted comes with the car is well the effectiveness is limited..

well you could turn off the aircond during rainy day when you're cold... or in the afternoon you could open up a bit windows to reduce the heat in the car

Yes, definitely. I'm sure the engineers have tested it countless times before releasing to the public. I do own a car that has Auto Start/Stop and yea during traffic jam it turns off and on the engine for countless times without any button to turn it off which is annoying at times but the car is already 4 years old and doesn't seem face any problem. So there's nothing much to worry
