oh, ok.. thanks for the info.. still searching high and low for tanks that wont leak at all...  puke.gif

To be fair, once I'm done with the "blow-blow ritual" to equalise pressure, I can turn the GMv3 every other way and 90% of the time it won't leak.

HOWEVER, you really need to get the wicking-AFC-JFC trinity set up right or it will start gurgling. But, like I said, thanks to the JFC at least it doesn't do this as badly as the older v2.

And, to be perfectly clear, it has never leaked a drop while refilling (AFC-JFC closed)... it only gurgles if I don't "blow-blow" (which drives me nuts lol), juice never really seeps out the AFC.

Wanna ask....anyone here tested Choco Cow juice? Nice?

Tested. Nice, but it's more "Nesquik" then actual chocolate milk. But I love Nesquik so yeah it's good. That said, I prefer strawberry milk (NOT custard) over chocolate... so it's not in my rotation.

Nemi + Arima = Marker Pen lolololol.

Xpun Poldiac + GP S&P cartomizer tank.

In all seriousness, sabteng + VTC mini dh cukup to start with 90% of the time. Everything else is just fluff.

Had the same issue as you, then I got a dual battery mod and firing at 70W~90W can last me the whole day at work and I just swap out to fresh batts while I charge the other at home.

Thinking of buying a portable single coil dripper set, eyeing at a iStick Pico paired with a NarDa/Hadaly/O-Atty. Those attys are small flavor machines according to reviews and discussions.
Just holding out for a while till I can find a solid O-Atty clone on FT (original retails for CAD$200). >0.5ohm coils firing  at 25W~40W on the Pico, should last me the day with an extra battery in the bag.
*
If you don't mind a single coil "capable" atty, the Hastur v2s is pretty awesome for what it is. It's primarily built for duals though, but as all velodecks you can fit a single in there pretty easily methinks.

I'm not quite a fan of the Narda screwdeck myself but YMMV.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not a big fan of the velodecks to be honest, tried the Velocity V2 and passed it on to a friend.

How's the Pico for you tho? Still going strong I assume?
Did a quick check on the prices and the all black Pico is still going for ~RM130-RM150.
*
Multiple drops and spills later it's still rocking like a champion. Heck my GMv3 already has a loose AFC thanks to the last tumble to the tarmac (while the Pyrex is just fine lol), but the Pico is chugging like nothing happened.

So yeah, my lil' ADV that could is still going strong.

HOWEVER, the paint scratches real easy, so getting the all-black might not be the best idea if you're not gonna baby it. You can wrap it in CF or something like I do though.

Nice nice, you're using the sammies 30Qs right?
How's the battery life and average firing wattage?

I thought about that, but the other colors doesn't do it for me.. Maybe the brushed silver, but I feel the full black has easier matchy matchy capabilities.
*
Well... not really. I'm actually using the Sammy 25R5s on the Pico, and get about a full day's use on 50w 460f TC. Not really hardcore cloudist level use though, just regular use like what you would do with ciggies. Good enough for me and I already have a full complement of 3 25R5s in rotation (+1 on my spare Evic) so it's not really that economical for me to replace all of them with new 30Qs.

At least not yet.

The 30Qs married pair I DO have are reserved for my VT133.

*
DNA75, DNA200 and DNA250 boards inside. The 250 retrofit was about time, and the Therion 133 only really happened because back then there weren't enough 250 boards to go around.

I guess Elolve are making enough now. Can't wait for the VT166... if HCig has any plans to update the 133 ler.

Don't rely on the scene behind the battery door...water may have gotten in via other ways.
If I were you, I'd dismantle the device and see if any water got near the board and other internals.

And if u ever wanna attempt vaping underwater, I'm ready to capture it on video  biggrin.gif
*
I have actually thought of complex, elaborate ways to achieve this... though in the end it didn't seem to be worth the effort so I gave up lol.

THAT SAID, a splash proof mod does have its benefits, even if you're not going anywhere near bodies of water (ehem juice ingress ehem).

Clear your browser cache if you haven't already, and then try again after waiting a bit. Sometimes it helps.

ur battery life purely depending on your vaping style..
i'm more of a flavor chaser rather than cloud chasing, and yes, most of my tanks are single coil tanks.
kayfun v5, pico, nectar, snapdragon and coils at 0.6-0.7ohm at max 25watts, a single 18650 can easily last me 2 days..
and i do use my nemesis mech very more often now...
so, yeah...
i'm keeping it simple, currently enjoying tc with my kayfun v5 on my evic vtc mini, pico on my nemesis mech and nectar micro on my mini volt...
*
Get a Pico for the Pico. Enjoy the confusion next time someone asks you what setup you're running lol.

There doesn't seem to be an RBA available for it.
Rebuilding the SSOCC seems to be a real pain. http://vapingunderground.com/threads/kange...eardown.173709/

U sure u want a tank that has NO adjustable airflow? I wouldn't!

Save yourself some headaches. If u r a beginner, pop into a vape shop manned by good helpful staff. I recommend Vape Empire in SS15, if u r near that area. Tell them your needs and they can advise u on a suitable starter kit. If u r quitting smoking, tell them how much u smoke per day, and your style of smoking (light puffer, deep inhaler, etc). There's no obligation to buy.

Vape shop prices are usually higher than online shops...they have more overhead costs, and provide face-to-face service. You also get to see and check the item before handing over yr money.
*
This I agree with. True, researching yourself and buying online *will* save you *some* money, but if you're starting out its just not worth the hassle.

Save the money saving and self searching ONCE you've experienced enough from your starter to want to upgrade (and once you are better versed in vaping to know what you actually want from your *upgrade*).

True, there are some.. well... less then scrupulous sellers out there. However, the folks up at VE SS15 (and most VEs for that matter) are fine though, and I've gone through a whole lot of purchases with them myself. They don't have the cheapest prices sure, but for me it's okay for the services rendered.

Besides, it's much better to be able to go back to a shop if anything goes wrong, especially when you're just starting out.

I've had some issues with PayPal not accepting MBB card too, sometimes it'll reject the VISA card but AMEX works, other times it's the other way around. Not sure why, not had this for a while though (haven't ordered much vaping stuff, have far too much of it!)
*
Pretty weird... I just now ordered some chargers from GearBest through PayPal with my MBB Visa. Zero issues as usual.

MBB issue? PayPal issue?

Here's my weathered, long suffering ADV, now with some GMv3 goodness.

And yes, the GMv3 has pretty much taken over from the 'Cado for daily duties now. I even have a 1:1-ish clone spare GMv3 on the VTC Mini for backup duties.

Why? Flavour is about par, and I can tip it upside down lol. Also, very little of the fuss of the older v2. It's not perfect though, but at least it's comparable to my "fuss-free benchmark": The old Taifun GT.

Also, the GMv3 has survived more than one drop already (probably thanks to the raised, ridged top and bottom) so durability is right up there with the best of them.

Unfortunately, rewicks have gone back to the normal weekly/fortnightly schedule (from 3 weeks/monthly with the 'Cado), probably because I can't easily pop the top off and directly access the coils for impromptu cleaning like I can on the 'Cado.

Juice inside? Naked 100's Lava Flow. I have a whole bunch of it stocked at home, being a tasty yet hardy juice that tolerates gunked cotton/coils pretty well.

Guys, wht is the current price of goblin mini v2 ?  The ones sold in lazada, is it ori ?
*
Not sure. Sellers in Shopee normally mark their items "clone" or "ori", my 2nd GMv3 was clearly marked a clone by Debubu and priced as such.

Going price? An ori v2 should be around 60-80, considering an ori v3 goes for 90-ish already nowadays.

Why not just get a v3 Bro?

If ori is 90rm, how muc did u get ur clone for ?
*
60-ish lol. But the original is well worth the 30 buck premium. Better fit, better insulators/orings, smoother JFC and tighter AFC. Parts are interchangeable between the two, but the clone has a very rough JFC and loose AFC (and it leaks more lol).

Yeah the v3 does look a tad more gaudy, but:

1) It leaks A LOT less (thanks to the better AFC and JFC)
2) Building and wicking is pretty much foolproof (velodeck) vs the hassle with the v2 (I can never wick it right without it leaking one way or another)
3) Dedicated single/dual-coil decks (haven't used the single one yet though)
4) Taste is about the same, maybe slightly better (with the spitback-nubbin not attached)

So yeah, considerable gap in overall performance.

Hey dude, if you don't mind a 24mm RTA.. you should check out the Merlin Mini. Managed to grab one at an auction for RM90, it has tons of options (dual coil velocity deck, single coil deck with additional airflow options).

So for the dual coil deck, you have the generic airflow control.

Things get interesting for the single coil deck, they provide these sort of screws where you can completely change your vape experience to either DTL, restricted DTL or MTL and still have the generic airflow control.

& the airflow is damn smooth, I had the serpent mini and the goblin v1 (a bit outdated) but both of em has nothing on the Merlin.
*
The GMv3 single deck IS the Merlin deck (at least the one from the Maxi Merlin) lol... sans the extra airflow modification accessories of course.

Also, the v3 is probably just a "Goblin" by name and general external outlook... by lieu of features it's more a GobGriffSerpDiabMer[insert-modern-pressure-fed-tank-name-here]Lin lol... Youde sure didn't pull any punches copying the best bits of everything.

Plus... the v3 has dat 4ml "Extension Kit", which seems pretty handy for travelling. Don't know anyone who sells it locally though. Maybe VE.

However, dat MerMini does sound interesting... though it's 24mm. The Maxi Merlin still barely fits the Pico though according to the Internet, not quite sure the MerMini.

Nope, grabbed it at HyperVape Sg. Wang. Shopee prices too so pretty much got one instantly.

pleasuresaurus TBH, it's nothing to write home about. Being auto (no firing switch, suck like ciggy only) and tiny, confirm bungkus compared to my dual coil GMv3 + Pico. Expect looooooooooong drags to get your fix and just "okay" flavor...

... but it's a fully self-contained vaping device the size of a gawddam lighter. Apa lagi mau lol? Can campak into your bag and forget about it entirely for emergencies lol.

Surprisingly, the VT167 not just a rechipped VT133 though: It's a hellva lot more solidly built this time around.

Unfortunately, the juice leak seams up top are still there looks like. I wonder if HCig *finally* put a gasket around the seams. Also, "solidly built" = bulky and heavy, very much more so vs the VT133.

What this *also* means is that the D250 chips have started shipping out to OEMs. Cue the Therion 167 in 3... 2... 1...

Not really a fan of Gambit (too much a fruits guy) but I have huge respect of quality complex liquid producers (vs the typical selori ice + selori gula local concoctions). Do keep up the good work, sir... Maybe if I have a hankering for Apple Pie I'll come knocking your way.

Currently my backlog of juices still berbukit. Need to clear them off first. Even the KIC I haven't opened yet lol.

My standard ADV juice. 70/30 6mg Naked 100 Lava Flow. It should hit harder with a 12... or maybe a higher PG juice.

It's serviceable so far as an extreme backup though.
