Gotcha man. Yeah I do think the V2 has much better design. The fat knurling around V3 make it much more practical though - I always have a good grip on the spinny parts and the glass hasn't shattered even once after like a hundred drops already lol.

Actually you got it backwards. The V2 and V1 was nasty to assemble and wick (especially to wick without leaking). The V3 is MUCH, MUCH better.

The only issue I have with the V3 is the pressfit construction of the JFC. Being pressfit there's really nothing you can do yourself once that part starts getting loose... and it does get gradually looser and looser especially after a few drops.

Otherwise, it's been my to-go ADV tank for quite a while now, and I actually have 2 lol (Ori AND Clone - parts are surprisingly interchangeable)... both of which are getting loose lol.

To be clear, it only really loosens when you drop it or knock it or otherwise be rough to it lol. It stays fine otherwise.

Im just rough with my stuff lol. Can wholeheartedly recommend the Pico + GMv3 combo now though as it still works all this time after all the crap I give it lol.

It has a side-deck like the Merlin especially for single coils included right in the box. And airflow can be toned down to quite a tight draw too...

Unfortunately, I lunghit duals nowadays so I can't really attest to it actually working for single coil MTL, as tight draws usually flood the old V1/V2... But at least the V3 has a JFC as well to adjust how much juice you're getting.

So yeah. YMMV, but theoretically it should work well.

Actually, I'm looking for another GMv3 myself and outside of Shopee, it's actually quite hard to find, at least from the usual shops around Subang/PJ.

I vape everything on dual coils lol. Even the complex creamy stuff, though those I only put through the dual SS Fused Claptons on my VT133 + Hastur V2S dripper combo (and damn, that one hits like a truck for me).

My ADV Pico + GMv3 only does fruity(-ish), and usually only ONE flavour for months on end, as I VERY rarely change ADV flavours. Right now it's been Naked 100 Lava Flow for nearly a year already (and counting, still not bored of it yet), and I'd consider LF to be fruity though it DOES have a touch of creamy coconut at the end.

Interesting. Poor man's DNA eh? Thankfully I have a 2/3 just lying around unused if it's worth the flash. Been keeping it as my dual batt backup, hasn't seen much use either.

So yeah, also interested here.

EDIT: Also VTC Mini and Pico support? This is sounding better and better by the second.

Funny that I have EXACTLY one device from each brand on that list lol: VTC Mini, 2/3 and Pico.

Hmm, maybe later later I try.

You can always go the Custom Firmware way and get Presets and PC control and stuff for it really. IINM the chipset should not vary THAT much between the many Picos, so if it the custom FW doesn't have support port the Duals yet, it will soon.

As for me, still enjoying the joys of the base unflappy-bird OG Pico FW. The lesser things I have to tweak on my ADV, the better really, as I already have my hands full tweaking my other pieces of tech.

As for my TwoThirds, now that's a different story altogether.

BTW, I noticed that a lot of you folks are set on finding more LG Chocos/VTC5s. Why when the Pinkie Sammy 30Qs are superior as per abam Mooch?

I mean, it's pretty much comparable spec to spec as the VTC5, yet is rated to 3000mAh when the VTC only does 2600 (similar to the VTC6).

And yet it's easily available over in Lazada, at not so bad prices too.

That said, I might still get myself Chocos to replace my Pico's stock of Sammy 25Rs, simply coz I'm already running 30Qs on my VT133 and I like to run diff batts for diff mods. That or VTC6s, if I can find some.

Abam Mooch says VTC6 25A max discharge. LG Chocos can go to 20A saje. On the other hand VTC6 continuous discharge rating is only around 19A, when the Sammy 30Q is rated to 20A.

So yeah. It's more power but the 30Q even moar powa. Buuuuut, the Chocos are cheap as chips, even ori if Vivaport prices are to be believed.

That said, I just ordered 4 VTC6s off GearBest anyway (and yay there is somehow somebody shipping it) just for the different wraps lol, and coz I just realised that Chocos are already reserved for use with my TwoThirds.

Now let's see how bloody long that kapal kontena is gonna take to reach here.

That said, I got mine for RM15 per pop lol. Back when they listed a case of 2 pinkies as RM30 on Lazada. So I tarpaued 2 cases ler.

Never found out if they really put it at that price and increased later or it was a case of listing mistake lol.

On the other hand, I seem to have volunteered for the flip-flop GB shipping test now. Fingers crossed that it would even arrive lol, as my nearly year old 25Rs are gonna be pretty fit for the old batteries home soon.

But really, they're so hard to find locally at decent prices that buying a set has become like preparing to update your car insurance lol. I mean I don't mind slightly inflated prices but current local rates are killer.

Vivaport I can vouch for. Just got my stock refill US juice from them, confirm ori.

Debubu has also been quite transparent so far, they clearly seperated their Ori and Clone GMv3 on Shopee (when I needed to get a Clone for spare parts). Can't say anything about their juices though.

So yeah. Good decent shops AFAIK.

Interesting that you see it in that way. I do agree about regression though, for those who aren't as invested in Vaping as we are, it's far too easy.

Personally I have no plans to stop any time soon, as I never really vaped to stop smoking in the first place myself. I vaped simply because it was just a "better" nicotine delivery method than smoking, as due to a certain medical condition, nicotine actually helps me function... literally.

So yeah, you can probably deduce that this "need" for nicotine means that I'm in for the long run myself. By hook or by crook.

Oh and the power to you thing was never meant as a snide pass at you or something, just in case if you're wondering.

It's ADHD... Specifically the adult form of ADHD-PI. Also known as the controversial "Millennial Condition". Quite simply it's the medical inability to focus mentally on whatever is at hand, though the actual scope of its effects reach far beyond just that.

I was formally diagnosed with it way back when I was an angsty teen, though if you go ask my parents they'll tell you I've had it since birth.

My Psych also prescribed me Ritalin, aka the Zombie Maker. Suffice to say I never was on those bloody slowmo drugs for long. By association, Ritalin, Caffeine and Nicotine is somewhat related, sooooo you know where this leads...

Seriously, I'd rather a lifelong self administration of Nicotine (thru Vaping of course) than continue using the damn Zombie Maker.

Also, not sure how but lately I've developed a headachey response to coffee (besides weak lattes) so Caffeine isn't a viable long-term alternative either.

duke_hunt So how long did it take? The ones I've ordered from GB to replace my elderly Sammys have just shipped out late last week.

Thankfully, only one of my veteran 25Rs have bit the dust so far (it simply can't retain charge for long any more), though I'm not sure if the rest can last for the few more weeks it's gonna take for my GB VTC5s to arrive.
