Hi,I've passed Orthos Blend test for 1hour+ but failled in 3Dmark 03 CPU test...What should I do to make my 2.8GHZ E6300 stable.BTW,I disable the Auto Voltage in the Bios in the F7 Bios.

my DS3 died right after i update my bios to F8, damn...

Most said F8 is really good as you can apply lesser vcore for the same speed compared to F7. Nice thing.

anyone tried F9 yet?

im using F9, reach 2.6 with no probs. max OC im dare not to try yet as new very good cpu cooler is required to do that. but of course u can go higher if u got BETTER cooling system and D9 chips!

+5v = 35A
+3.3v = 35A

am using f9 rite now.. max stable is still at 460 fsb. it could be my ram or my cpu reaching a limit already. 

other than that, nothing much to report actually.

I using F9 also...FSB475X7 @ 1.45v....100Mhz better than previous with acceptable vcore...  
Just remember to load fail safe/optimized setting b4 flash...to reduce the risk ....

1.45v for 475x7 is too high  i use 1.36v for 486x7  idle 48-50c load 55c

E6600 3.4Ghz = 15.000 sec

Why higher clock speed but SPi reading higher??
I tot tht 2 mb cache only bring less than 5% perf different.
E6600 and E6400 architecture is so different?? i tot they are same only E6600 have higher multiplier.

I lost track with the post already, anyone using e6600 ES version? what is your core temperature?

i got mine for 2 days....
using ATX tower
e6600 ES (din't OC)
TT Big Typhoon VX

my core temperature using TAT
IDLE: 68 - 72
Full Load: 80 - 81

but bios CPU temperature shows
IDLE: 26 - 33

which is the real one? if core temp so high, anyway i can lower it down?

My E6600 ES so far can reach 3.555Ghz. Currenty still using Intel HSF, i think maybe need better cooling to help me o'c to 3.6Ghz. But im not sure yet 
Wanna ask pros here.. if wanna hit 3.6GHz or above really need 3rd party HSF ??

looking at p00kit's oc results, i was inspired to find out the upper limit of my e6300. But sadly, i kinda hit the wall somewhere before 470 fsb

At 470fsb, i could load windows @ stock vcore, and even run the superPI 1m but it would only last for like 5 seconds in orthos! argghhh.. i've even tried to pump the vcore to 1.4v but still no go.. using ds3 with kvr 667 1 gb (single).
i've tried running the ram at 480 mhz using divider 4:5 (or 5:4) and it works well, which should mean that the ram should work at 470 fsb or is it?

Could it be my psu holding me back? Im using Acbel 450w. The 12v rails looks okay to me..

using the thermaltake bigtyp vx only. But the temp is not so bad.. i usually go for this crazy runs when my room is pretty cool (air cond at full blast). Even at 460 FSB, my load is still below 55c.

i guess your right, probably its the proc. I've always thought this baby had potential.. (i could run 430x7 @ 1.25v)
