just changed to CM Hyper48 cooler. can do 2.8~3.2 with no prob (maybe more), but my ram holding me back. Can't get my ram stable even at a very relaxed timing.

+0.4vdimm 1:1 400FSB (DDR800) - 5-10-10-20 - UNSTABLE
1.32v core, the rest = stock voltage.

anymore tweaks i can do to increase the stability of my ram?
*
aiyo..if i knw u wan hyper 48 i shd hv sell to u tongue.gif cz i was thking gettin big typhoon VX drool.gif wow...ddr800 @ 5-10-10-20 is super loose timing...perhaps too loose till not stable? sweat.gif try 5-5-5-15@2.1vdimm
im running 5-4-4-12 @ 2.0vdimm smile.gif

setting ratio 2. im not at home, i will post some screenies later. what the maximum voltage that you guys stay away from? now im running 2.45v if im not mistaken.
with a tempature of 40c.

i havent do any stress tess on the 2.8 yet. will do it and give more info tomorrow.
*
i believe 800x7 = 5.6Ghz!!!!!! shocking.gif and tat means ur ram is running 1600mhz!!! shocking.gif and 2.45 is ur vdimm or vcore ? sweat.gif

QUOTE(flatfinger @ Jan 22 2007, 09:43 AM)
hehehe u got so much time to do..then ok lorr...others ppl dunt have time like u..so minimum requirement 6 hours plus should be ok.. wink.gif
most ppl do 3.0Ghz-3.2Ghz within thier default vcore (1.325v) or just a little increasement (between 1.35v-1.375v) becoz some mobo got the vdrop while priming their proc...

if u go above 3.2Ghz...is likely u have to increase ur vcore above the default...but there is some gem c2d that can run under voltage at high speed...but hard to find...n if u have it..u r lucky...
*
haha...not sacrifying time lar..i just run it b4 i sleep...thn turn on whole day as the next day i go to wrk.. tongue.gif comeback frm wrk check lor..hehe rclxms.gif

QUOTE(CyberTroop @ Jan 22 2007, 02:59 PM)
What about the ram timing of 5-5-5-18, dunno whether good anot...
And another thing is, how far can i lower down my CPU voltage? My fsb is currently at 400x8 and the cpu voltage is at 1.325. How do i test how far down i can go?
*
u lower the vcore slowly lor...reduce 1step at a time then run orthos..until the orthos fail.. smile.gif

hrmm... wanna ask here. i OC my friend's rig to 2.5ghz, 4-4-4-12 1.8vdimm, 1.275vcore bios, 1.160vcore cpu-z/pcprobe. orthos blend 8 hours stable, TAT 56/57. stock HSF.

which such undervolting is it ok for 24/7 usage? it's a E63. cause i'll be sending this rig to SG for him. then he will be using it there. don't want any hassle after sending this rig to him. thanks in advance

PS: i hope this question is OC related, thus it's in topic
*
as long as it survive stability test i thk low voltage is good smile.gif
cz im running vcore 1.25v for so long liao...no instability problem smile.gif

wah... 450fsb @ 1.35v.. ddr900 4-4-4-7?? pass memtest, othos?? but y 18.203 in super pi 1m test?? isn't it a bit slow?? but really amazing can do 4-4-4-7 on ddr667 value ram.. i tried a few value ram but hard to passed 850mhz without high vdimm (at 5-5-5-15).. but urs 2.4vdimm oso a bit high huh.. but my knowledge with chipset is oso very very low.. near nothin.. lol..
*
pass super PI 32m but hvnt tested wif orthos yet...just wanna squeeze how tight the timing can go... smile.gif 18.203 @ ddr900 consider slow? i believe its the fastest among all 450fsb speed here even though its not much difference tongue.gif then how fast shd ddr900 speed consider fast for u ler? whistling.gif within 17sec? 16sec? 15sec? hmm.gif im refering E6300 here all the way...not to mention those E6600 & above sweat.gif

i used 2.4vdimm is to burn in my ram...now i run ddr800 @ 4-4-4-7 @ 2.2vdimm

like wat coolice mention, majority E6300 can do 450fsb @ 1.35v...this thg is hard to say also...before this i even need 1.36v above just to run 430fsb...but now i can run 430fsb @ stock vcore...perhaps burn in really helps a bit in oc smile.gif
